Changing Tides

Fuji: So, you have a fight coming up.

Chara: I do?

Fuji: Yes, it'll be against someone named Karu Hagashke. He's a Judoka and has 1 win in the Yokazuna Arena.

Chara: I know who he is, he was there for the entrance exam.

Fuji: Oh, alright then. Well I'd make sure to focus on training and be ready for him.

Chara: Alright, I can do that.

Chara was landing knees on a heavy bag as he was sweating heavily, he threw some elbows and a high kick to finish off his training.

Ponche: Chara, someone came to see you!

Chara: Huh? Where are they?

Ponche: They're in the lounge area.

Chara: Alright, I'll go see them.

Chara wiped his face with a towel and walked down a hallway from the training room and he entered the lounge and was caught off guard with who he saw.

???: Chara, it's been awhile.

Chara: Kisus!?

Kisus Kandona was sitting in the lounge, he had a white suit on and black shoes, he had a purple undershirt and a black tie.

Kisus: I see you're doing well, you've gotten bigger since we fought.

Chara: What are you doing here?

Kisus: You're cutting to the chase, good. I've never been good at small talk. I wanted to warn you.

Chara: Warn me? About what?

Kisus: There's a group after you, I had connections to them and I was hired to beat you but after you defeated me they cut all ties with me and tried to have me killed, that's where I got this.

Kisus unbuttoned his white suit jacket and his purple shirt showing a large wide scar over his chest and part of it going up to his neck.

Kisus: I managed to survive but they almost killed me.

Chara: So you were hired to hurt me? I'll handle this on my own.

Kisus: Don't get overconfident, I know what they're capable of.
