Chapter 2: Toya's scars - P1-

Natsuos POV:

Toya was used to going out to do SOMETHING he didnt want us to know. Each time we ask mom about she just answer : "Dont worry, he went to play with his friends". That was bothering us so much! I mean Toya is 2 years older than Fuyumi and 3 older than me, but he was allowed to go out every day while we just stay at home take care of Shoto and Layami.

Another thing was bothering us: Every time he goes, Toya always goes back to us with scars on his body. Mom treats them without even asking questions like "Where were you? How you've got those terrible scars on your body!?". NOPE, no questions at all.

Since his injuries were always not that difficult to heal, we dont ask about them either.

But one night...

Toya (age: 9) went out again, he usually returns before dinnertime, but that time he didnt, we already had our dinner while he didnt come yet. Mom was counting minutes and seconds waiting for him to go back to us, waiting for the door to open, we were so worried.

-Shoto (age: 3): Mom... where is Toya.

- Mom: I dont know I dont know... I dont know!!

- Fuyumi (age: 7): can't we go look for him?

-Mom: You? No, but I will go if he did not return in the next few minutes.

-Layami (age: 2): Mom... sleepy...

-Mom: Time to sleep now, go to bed and dont worry about Toya, you'll find him next to you in the morning.

We obeyed our mother and take our two little brother and sister to their bed, then I and Fuyumi went to sleep too.

Few minutes later someone knocked at the door, mom quickly went to open it in hope that the knocker would be Toya, and it was him.

-Mom: Toya! Where were you! I was so worri...

Mom stopped talking, she saw Toya's hands... They were covered with terrible burns, she was shocked and almost passed out, but she realized that she had to act quickly before the situation gets worst.

Mom took Toya to the kitchen and search for a medicine for his hands but she didn't find one, so she had to go out to buy it in the hope that she will find a pharmacy that's still working.

-Fuyumi (whispering): Natsuo! Wake up!

- Natsuo (age: 6): Five minutes... please... mom...

- Fuyumi: Natsuo I am not mom! Wake up!

- Natsuo: What what is it

- Fuyumi: I think Toya is back!

- Natsuo: Really? Why didnt you tell me from the beginning! Lets go see him.

We saw light coming from the kitchen and went to see, we found there Toya sitting in a chair without any movement. We were so terrified of the burns we saw in both his hands.

Toya was always getting hurt, but seriously That time the burns in his hands were really bad.

-Natsuo: Toya... you'r hands... what happened!

He didnt answer, in fact he was almost unconscious, just looking at the floor without saying any word.

-Fuyumi : your hands are injured so badly! What happened to you Toya!

-Natsuo: Toya please say something! We are so worried about you!

We tried repeatedly, but he did not reply. It was just like a person who is trying to talk to someone DEAD.

Suddenly we heard the sound of small footsteps advancing to us, they belonged to Layami and Shoto.

-Shoto (yawning): why are you here

As soon as the two of them saw Toya a large smile appeared in their faces, they ran to him.

-Layami, Shoto (at the same time): Yey! Toya!

Then they started singing and dancing.

-Layami, Shoto (at the same time): Toyas back! Toyas back!

The two of them didnt notice the horrible burns on Toyas hands, they stopped singing and held their big brothers hands while saying: We missed you Toya!.

Toya suddenly pulled his hands back screaming in pain, his injuries were bad that even touching them caused pain to him, the poor His sudden reaction made Shoto and Layami cry.

-Natsuo: stop crying already!

-Fuyumi: yes stop!

They screamed more and more intensely without stopping and at the right time mom come home with a box of medicines and bandages in her hand.

-Mom: What are you doing here? Go back to bed! Now!

-Fuyumi: Mom his hands

-Mom: Dont worry, he will be okay, take Shoto and Layami with you and go to sleep.

-the children: Yes mom.

And so we got out of the kitchen, leaving Toya in a pitiful state, we accompanied Shoto and Layami to their room, and we, I and Fuyumi, both went to bed.

-Natsuo: sis, Im so worried about Toya.

As we spoke, we could hear from time to time Toya screaming... That was horrible.

-Fuyumi: me too But how did he get injured like that!

-Natsuo: is it because of his friends?

-Fuyumi: He always comes back with wounds or scratches, but they often were simple and not difficult to heal But this time, those burns are serious!

-Natsuo: I think he had a fight with someone

- Fuyumi: with a bear for example?

-Natsuo: Maybe!

-Fuyumi: the burns are on his hands did he exaggerate on using his flames?

- Natsuo: I dont know, but mom will heal them.

-Fuyumi: Mom she sure knows what happened to Toya, let us ask her tomorrow.

-Natsuo: ok good night sis.

-Fuyumi: good night bro.

A/N: so this is just the part one of the chapter I couldn't continue write cuz it's long a little bit Also I'm so LAZY now so I'm going to upload the P2 soon maybe after 2 or 3 days.
