Tears shed in the darkness of the night,
When she thought no one could see and hear, her pain she let out
I close my eyes and listen to her cries,
But for a young heart like mine, it was too much
Morning comes she smiled so bright,
No sign of tears from that painful night
But for a young heart that love her so much, I could see her crying heart
For my happiness, she lies, and for my future, she works hard
Can't help but ask; where is her other half?
No courage to ask, query hidden away in the privacy of my mind
But half of my young heart seek the one that might have caused her broken heart
On my knees I prayed, her other half would show up
For I wish to experience how it is to be lifted up
Wishing it will also take away the sadness in her eyes
Father be back and heal her broken heart
Mine as well for its breaking missing you so much
