"This is just inside your budget that you presented to me, but it has all that you asked for." The realtor said as she opened the door to the house, letting J and I enter. As we looked around, I noticed all the things we didn't like here as well.
"Is there possibly something else?" I asked as I noticed the cords on the walls that had been painted over rather than pulled down.
"Of course, Miss Jones! We have about... two more homes for you to look at." She said and we left, going to the next house, which was absolutely disgusting and the area was horrible.
"This is the last one that we have for you today." The woman said and we went inside, but Jorel huffed.
"I mean, it's not great, but-"
"It's in the process of being renovated, J, let's just... look around." I said and the woman looked pleased I had said something instead.
"Alright, I suppose." He said and we looked around, though I was happier as I saw the pool.
"I know you mentioned you like to swim, Miss Jones." The woman said and I nodded.
"I do, very much." I said then went to find J and saw him eyeing the room by the front of the house.
"Well?" I asked and he nodded.
"Finish the renovations, it'll be a great house." He said and the woman smiled.
"They're due to be completed by the end of the week." She said and I looked at J.
"What do you think?" I asked and he crossed his arms, shaking his head.
"You should have shown us this first." He said and I grinned as the woman cheered.
"Then we have a house!" I said and she took us to the office to get everything finished up.

"To Perse and J-Dog!" Charlie cheered and we clinked glasses together, drinking in a club to celebrate our new home.
"Man, you guys don't play!" Johnny said, but I smiled as I set my drink down.
"We just don't have space-"
"I meant this!" Johnny said and handed me his phone, showing me images J had posted on Instagram that I hadn't seen. Ever since his fans started getting on me, I had steered clear of social media. The first picture was of me asleep in our bed, the next one of me cooking while I danced in the kitchen, there was a photo he had taken of us together that I recognized, and the last photo was of me asleep on him on the couch, probably during movie night.
"Aw!" Danny grinned as he read over my shoulder, but I read the caption and smiled.
My sweet, beautiful angel, Persephone! I love her with all my heart, she makes me happy! Stay strong, baby girl, and fight those haters away with your sass!
"Jorel!" I laughed, seeing he was red in the face as he stared at his drink.
"Why didn't you tell me-"
"Hell no!" He laughed and I grinned, hugging his neck and kissing his cheek.
"I love you too!" I whispered then handed Johnny his phone back.
"Man, they get on anyone for anything!" Dylan said and I sighed.
"It doesn't matter, we're happy and those who know are happy with us. That's what matters." I said and kissed J's cheek again.
"I wanna dance, J." I said then he pulled me up and we went to dance, this time much more like a couple and less like friends.

"Ava, Scarlett, watch out!" Danny yelled as the girls ran around the yard, but Johnny shook his head.
"Man, maybe the candy was a bad idea-"
"Johnny, she's happy on her birthday, that's what matters." I said and he nodded as I sipped my juice.
"You okay?" He asked and I nodded.
"Not feeling too hot, doctors say I've got the tail end of a cold. It wasn't anything serious if I was fine." I said and he nodded.
"Just remember to take care of yourself, yeah?"
"I am, and so is Jorel." I said and, as if summoned, he appeared next to me and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Of course I am." He said and I smiled as he held me.
"Like a fucking ghost, dude." Charlie laughed as he came over, but Jorel leaned down to my ear.
"Come inside for a second?" He whispered and I looked at him then nodded, taking his hand as he brought me inside. When he stepped into the bathroom and locked the door behind us, locking us inside, I gave a nervous laugh.
"Sorry, I-I just know you don't like public things and I can't wait anymore." He said and reached into his pocket, grabbing something then I stared as I saw a black ring with purple gems in it.
"Jorel-"
"Please?" He breathed and I looked at him then laughed, plucking the ring from his fingers and sliding it on my left ring finger.
"Perfect fit!" I grinned and hugged his neck.
"Yes, I'll marry you." I whispered and he smiled as he held me close, leaning down and kissing me. As he turned and backed me into the sink counter, I softly moaned when he lifted me to sit on it, pushing my shirt up some.
"Wai-wait, this is Johnny's bathroom-"
"Charlie has already defiled every room in all of our houses, except our bedrooms. Johnny can deal with one more mess." He said and I laughed as I kissed him again, reaching for his belt and undoing it.
"I didn't think you'd actually say yes!" He breathed and I pulled back to look at him.
"Jorel, why would I say no?" I laughed, but he shook his head.
"I-I don't-"
"Exactly, so don't always assume the worst. Now, shut up and get my clothes off." I said and pulled my shirt over my head, hugging his neck as he helped me get my shoes off, followed by my jeans and his shirt.
