Meeting Papyrus

You hadn't slept well after last night's excitement. To many questions buzzed around in your head, not to mention the destroyed project that you now couldn't turn it. It seemed that you weren't the only one though. There was a skeleton in your class that hadn't finished it either. He was the only monster in your class, hell, he was the only monster in your school. Monsters were released from the Underground 3 years ago, but it was only this your that they were allowed to start attending human schools and such. The skeleton was the only one who'd made it here.. or perhaps the only one who wanted to attend? Either way, it was pretty cool, though you didn't have the courage to meet him. You were afraid that you were going to insult him somehow or something.

You were called to stay after class. You assumed it was because of the ruined/unfinished project since the skeleton was also there. "I'm sure you both know why your here." The skeleton figited with his gloves. He looked as if he were in trouble or something. He took a quick glance at you, his sockets went wide, and he looked back down, nodding. Ok that was kinda weird, but who were you to judge? "The project, professor?" He nodded. "Yes. You and Papyrus were the only ones who didn't finish it. Care to tell me why?" Papyrus huh? What a unique name. "Would you believe me if I told you I got mugged?" Papyrus flinched at that. "Not really."
"I.. I FORGOT.." Papyrus mumbled, still looking like a kicked puppy for some reason. "That is more believable. Now.. there is another make up project. You must choose a mythological creature and give a full detailed history, why people came up with it, strengths, weaknesses, etc. You'll be doing together to make sure you both stay on task! Understood?"
"Yes professor."
"Y-YES PROFESSOR."

Silence fell between you both as you left the class. "Um.. I'm [Y/N]. I'm looking forward to working with you." He glanced over, and beamed, this sudden confident air about it. Seriously, it was drastic. "I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS! I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU AS WELL!" You chuckled. "So what do you know about mythology?" He paused a moment, humming. "NOT MUCH, I MUST ADMIT.."
"Well that's ok. Here. Take my number so you can get ahold of me. If I could have yours we can schedule a time to meet and work on this." He tilted his head. It was cute. Like a puppy. "YOUR.. PHONE NUMBER..?" You hummed as you scribbled it down on a sheet of paper and passed it to him. "There." He tentatively took it. "THIS.. THIS IS EXCITING! I LOVE MAKING NEW FRIENDS! ER- IS THIS CONSIDERED FRIENDSHIP?" He held up the paper. "I do too, and yes, we can be friends. I don't mind." You smiled at him and he beamed more. Then it dropped a little. "I'M SORRY YOU GOT MUGGED. I'M GLAD YOU'RE OK."
"You believe me?" He nodded quickly. "WHY WOULD ANYONE LIE ABOUT THAT?" You shrugged. "No clue." You felt eyes glaring into you and looked outside to see another skeleton. He looked pretty relaxed, but something about his eyes was telling you to back off. It was kinda intimidating. "OH! SANS IS HERE ALREADY! I MUST GO HUMAN, BUT I WILL GIVE YOU A CALL LATER! GOODBYE!"
"Bye!" You waved as he dashed out the doors. You still had one more class, so you headed in that direction. He seemed really cool.

You were finishing up your homework when your phone went off.

I'M SORRY HUMAN, I CANNOT MEET UP TONIGHT.

That's ok. Something came up anyway and I have to babysit my brother's.

AH! I AM BABYSITTING AS WELL! PERHAPS TOMORROW YOU CAN COME TO MY HOUSE AND WORK ON THE PROJECT? YOU COULD EVEN STAY LONG ENOUGH TO HAVE MY WORLD FAMOUS SPEGHETTE!

Sounds amazing Papyrus, I should be free tomorrow.

You tucked your phone away and put away your supply. Afterwards you went to the living room. "I'm sorry I had to work late, [Y/N]. I'd have Kyle watch them, but.."
"I know. His condition."
"Right. Thank you again."
"No problem dad. I love watching the boys. Might just take them to the park."
"Just make sure to shower immediately afterwards when you get back."
"I know." Dad left in a hurry. "Hey boys! Get ready, we're going to the park!" Kyle had an immune deficiency. Even a cold could kill him if you weren't careful. Ethan and Oliver came charging down the hall, dressed in t-shirts and shorts. "Let's go!"
"Park! Maybe that kid will be there!"
"Kid?" You asked curiously. "Our new friend! They're so cool!"
"Well let's go see."

You watched the boys from a bench. You pondered what mythical creatures you could do the project on. You kept coming back to the werewolf. Why? You had no clue. You watched a kid in a blue and purple jumpsuit run over to the boys, calling to them. "Wait isn't that.."
"HUMAN?"You turned to look behind you. There was Papyrus and the other skeleton, Sans. "Oh hey, Papyrus. Fancy seeing you here."
"YOU AS WELL.. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" You looked back to the boys, now playing with the ambassador, Frisk. "My brother's wanted to come here. Release some energy. What about you?"
"FRISK WANTED TO COME HERE TO MEET THEIR NEW FRIENDS.. WHAT WERE THEIR NAMES AGAIN..?"
"ethan an' oliver."
"RIGHT! THANK YOU, BROTHER."
"no prob."
"Seriously?" You grinned. "Those are my brothers."
"NYEH HEH HEH! WONDERFUL! FRISK AND YOUR BROTHERS WERE FRIENDS BEFORE US!"
"Yeah. It IS really cool."
"pap, this your college bud?"
"YES! WE ARE DOING A PROJECT TOGETHER!"
"cool, cool. listen." Sans stepped close and whispered. "you hurt my bro, i'll hunt you down.." He pulled back and grinned. "nice ta meecha, kiddo." You chuckled nervously. "Yeah.. you too.." God he's scary.
