You Meet the Skelebros Friends

Cooking with Papyrus had been a wonderful time. He was so eager to learn, and had this burning passion for pasta. Teaching him how to make the meal was probably one of the best times of your life, as strange as that probably sounded. It was edible to, which was an added bonus. When Sans wasn't downright terrifying, he was pretty cool too. Eventually though, you'd had to leave to watch the boys. Which led to now. Ethan and Oliver brushing their teeth for the night while you checked up on Kyle. "Heya D.U.B." He sighed, grinning. "[Y/N] you made that stupid nickname when I was 6. You don't see me calling you The Poo anymore."
"I will never stop calling you D.U.B, D.U.B. It's who you are." You both laughed. "I don't think I'm that dumb or ugly anymore." He noogied you. "You're my brother, so to me you are both dumb and ugly. You don't even have a boyfriend!" He blushed. "I do actually! I haven't met him in the real world yet, but he's a sweet guy and hot too! And what about you? Do you have a date yet?" Your thoughts immediately went to Papyrus, making you blush. "Wait really? You have someone on the mind? Do tell."
"Kyle no! I'm not dating him or anything.. I doubt he even likes me in that way. We're just friends."
"And does this 'just friend' have a name? Honestly [Y/N]? Do you know how these stories go? Girl likes guy, guy likes girl back, something happens, then they figure it out and get together, bada Bing bada boom."
"If only it was really that simple."
"It is. You got this, sis!" You rolled your [E/C] eyes. "Goodnight... K¥1€6272."
"WERE YOU TROLLING ME AGAIN!" You laughed as you scrambled out of his room.

You'd gotten up early to get the boys ready for school. Ethan was in high school and Oliver was in middle school. He went to school with Frisk which is how they'd met in the first place. You checked if you had any classes today, which you did not, thank stars. You noticed you'd gotten a few texts from Papyrus.
GOOD MORNING, [Y/N]! -5:00 am
MY FRIENDS ARE COMING OVER TODAY AND I WAS WONDERING IF YOU WANTED TO COME AS WELL? -5:15 am
OH! I JUST REALIZED YOU'RE PROBABLY STILL ASLEEP! GOOD NIGHT AND GET BACK TO ME WHEN YOU CAN! -5:27 am
He was such a sweetheart. You texted him back before you had to drop the boys off.
Sure! I'd love to come! Any specific time? -6:42 am
WHENEVER. SANS IS ASLEEP RIGHT NOW, BUT HE CAN SLEEP THROUGH ANYTHING. -6:43 am
You laughed. You'll take his word for it.

"Alright boys! Let's go!" Oliver was looking a little nervous as you got in the car. "Hey bud.. what's up?" You asked casually. "Um.. why does Frisk go by they/them?" Hm? "They may not feel comfortable being called a boy or a girl." I replied simply. "Can.. can I be a they/them too..?" He-they asked. "If you want. I won't judge. You know your brother is gay and I don't judge him. I'm pan. Ethan is demi. So you can be who you want to be." Oliver smiled. "Thanks [Y/N].. you're the best!"

After dropping the boys off you drove to Papyrus' house. There was a minivan and a buggy car in the driveway with Pap's red convertible. That must be his friends. You exited your own vehicle and knocked on the door. You waited only 5 seconds before the door was flung open, a fish lady glaring down at you. "Heya punk! Who are you!" You swallowed and took a step back. "Uh.. [Y/N].." She was pulled away, Papyrus taking her place. "YOU'RE SCARING HER, UNDYNE! I'M SORRY [Y/N]! I HOPE UNDYNE DIDN'T SCARE YOU TO BAD!" You shook your head smiling. "No, no. I got a little startled is all. So that's Undyne huh?" He nodded enthusiastically. "WHY YES! IN THE UNDERGROUND SHE WAS MY MENTOR AND IS MY BEST FRIEND! OH! WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME IN?" You giggled and he turned a slight tangerine color. "Yes please." He stepped aside and you came in to see a goat couple, a lizard lady, and Undyne. "EVERYONE! THIS IS MY NEW FRIEND, [Y/N]! [Y/N], THIS IS FORMER KING ASGORE, LADY TORIEL, DR. ALPHYS, AND UNDYNE." You waved at the latter and bowed to the former because you honestly never met royalty before and didn't know how else to react. "You need not bow, miss. I am a king no longer so a handshake would suffice. "R-right.. sorry.." You shook his large fluffy hand. Then Toriel's. "I'm just an old lady, formality isn't necessary in the least. Would you like some pie? I have Frisk's favorite in the oven as we speak."
"Are you their mom? My br- sibling goes to school with them and they are good friends actually."
"That I am! I'm glad to know that Frisk is getting along with other children!" Then I shook hands with a very nervous Dr. Alphys. "I can understand your anxiety, but I don't bite. I promise."
"W-well that's g-good.."
"And if she did I'd kick her in the face for you Alphy!" You sweat dropped. You thought you heard something rumble behind you and looked to see Pap staring Undyne down. Ok then. "I.. don't really think that's necessary.."
"Ya never know!" Undyne replied simply. "Papyrus is she always like this?" Papyrus' gaze switched from Undyne to you and he went tangerine again. "I- I'M SORRY.. COULD YOU REPEAT THAT..?" Oop- his stutter was adorable. "Sure. Is Undyne always like that?"
"YES.. YOU LEARN TO GET USED TO IT." He replied. "Oh boy. Wanna go see about that pie?"
"YES!"
