Dear Diary...

Entry Five

Dear Diary,
I got to school and walked past Tane playing soccer, he looked at me but didn't do anything. Maybe he doesn't want to be friends, or he thinks that because I'm a nerd he can't be friends with me. That made me upset. We had maths today and he completely avoided me, Tane took one look at where I was and sat somewhere else. Now I know he is avoiding me, but I don't know why. Diary, why doesn't anyone like me? Just because I'm not like them doesn't mean I'm not human, it doesn't. After that, I just wouldn't look at him. I know he looked at me a lot because I saw it out of the corner of my eye, but he doesn't want to be my friend, I feel so alone.

Dear Diary,
I saw Opal walk past me playing soccer today before school, I couldn't bear to look at her. It would only make me cry, and I didn't want to cry. I know she was hurt by that, because I had opened myself alittle to her and she must think I don't want to be friends. I do want to be friends, I just can't look at her with thinking of my sister. Opal and her both look so similer. We had maths today diary, and I couldn't even sit next to her. I looked at her, I could feel tears in my eyes, so I had to sit next to someone else. Opal must hate me, I looked at her during maths a lot but she wouldn't look back. She doesn't want to be my friend, I feel so alone.
