Dear Diary...

Entry Twelve

Dear Diary,
Tane asked me if he wanted to go to a party with him tonight, he had been invited and was allowed to bring on friend, he picked me. My heart started to beat faster and it felt like billions of butterflies were in my stomach, my mum said I was allowed to go to one party this year, and this was the one. I said yes and Tane let out a sigh of relief as if I wasn't going to say yes, I laughed and walked to my class. I didn't know what I was going to wear, but I do know. Megan and mum helped me pick it out. Its a nice t-shirt that Megan wore to her first party, its really pretty on me, and black jeans. Megan said they would make my eyes brighter, mum said I was allowed to wear my contacts and she gave me a pretty bracelet that she had bought me for my eighteenth birthday, but she gave it to me earily. Megan is going to do my hair and mum will do my make-up, I'm going to feel like a princess. But tonight, I have one thing to do. I'm going to tell Tane I love him, it makes me nervous just thinking about it but I am defient that he will say "I love you too". I hope Tane likes what I'm wearing.

Dear Diary,
I asked Opal if she wanted to go to a party with me tonight, one of the guys on the soccer team invited me. My heart began to beat faster, would she say yes? Opal did. I let out a sigh of relief and she laughed, we went to our classes but one question was going through my head. What to wear? I know what I'm wearing now, Sky helped me pick it out. Its a flannel shirt, white t-shirt and denim jeans. My dad gave me a silver chain to put on my jeans, I gladly accepted it and I am going to put it on my jeans when I get changed into them. I'm also going to wear contacts, I don't want to lose the glasses Opal said I look cute in. That still makes me blush, even just thinking about it. But I have one thing to do tonight, ask Opal out. I hope she will say "Yes" back, and I hope that it will make her smile.
