Draco ran after you
It's late at night and your walking alone someone could hurt you or worse
And he won't allow you to get hurt
Draco finally catches up to you and grabs your hand
"Y/n please wait." Draco says and you look over at him
"No go away." You say and Draco shakes his head
"No y/n please stop and listen to me." Draco says and you sigh
"What?" You say annoyed and Draco takes a deep breath
"Your parents hurt you ok? And I won't tell you anything about those horrible people, so please just trust me that whatever I do it's to protect you, that's all I want to do that's all I'll ever do." Draco says and you hug him as he pulls you close to him and he kisses you which shocked you at first "I promise I'll protect you, now come back to my place or I'll walk you home." Draco says and you nod and Draco just picks you up and carries you which also shocked you "So my place or yours?" Draco asks and you shrug so he walks to his place carrying you *No matter what I'll always protect her, I couldn't protect her the day I lost her so now I will protect her from everything, because I failed her once I can't fail her again* Draco thinks as he looks at you for a split second and smiled

Draco finished making whatever he was making, from before you ran out
"I'm fine Draco I don't need another blanket." You say and Draco nods
"Ok just making sure your cozy and warm," Draco says and you smile at him
"I'm fine." You say and Draco then finished cooking and brought the food he made over to you and then sat on the couch beside you
Draco just stared at you and smiled *I won't fail her again I'll protect her I swear I will no one will harm her again*
