Dear Diary..
I'm at the fair today, with my two little sisters, and I thought it would be just another normal annual fair visit. I've always loved the fair when I was little and I still do. I love the cotton candy, the Ferris wheel, the game stands that had challenged you to all kinds of ridiculous stuff. It was all I ever looked forward to, really.
But this year, something in the universe, something way far out beyond my reached, something evil took this fair to a whole new level. A level I , small town boy Liam Payne, was not even remotely ready for.
Love at first sight.
Yes, I call love at first sight evil because, well first your little sisters will tease you to death in front of a crowd of people plus that lovely person you had just saw, who in response would laugh lightly with deathly charm, in which in return, I awkwardly smile back probably looking like a undeveloped horse for all I know. Secondly, I, small town-shy-boy-whose-never-experienced-love-before Liam Payne if you've forgotten, was definitely not prepared for the curse of love. Heck, he wasn't barely presentable. With only gray sweatpants and a cozy red grandma-knitted sweater for this chilly October weather, he definitely wasn't ready to fall in love. Not in that embarrassing house-wear he wasn't.
And third, the most painful of all, I looked like a freakish nerdy looking hobo compared to the gem that was standing before my eyes. I bet even when he sneezed he still looked like a Calvin Klein model. Heaven knows I'd look like a rabid dog whose tail just got pulled if I sneezed.
Who ever is reading this, I don't want you to think I'm exaggerating, I just want you guys to get a clear, full, horrible picture of the first time I met my first true love.
Eventually, I learned this Greek god's name after I, well, more like his and my little sisters, completely told the story of our chemistry session to the world via loud teasing and acted like little annoying e-harmony representatives to get us to finally walk up to each other. Of course, it would be rude to not go up to the boy after the awkward situation we were thrown into by our annoying siblings. So we walked up to each other, our sister's hand in our hands, and exchanged names.
His name was Zayn. I found Zayn's name very nice. I found his looks even more nice. So I wanted to get to know him more. He seemed pretty interested in me too.
Since we had our loud, blabber mouth sisters along with us at the time, we thought it would be best to avoid the awkward, infuriating teasing from our little rugrats and put off getting to know each other until the day after, the day when we purposely did not bring our sisters with us so we could have a fine and dandy time getting to know each other. We agreed we would meet up at noon the following day at the fair.
And that was it.
My first date. Liam Payne, the small town wallflower boy who couldn't even get a squirrel's attention, had finally gotten a date.
With a smoking hot guy. Whose name is Zayn. (I'm obviously obsessed with his name.)
I would've never thought this could actually happen. I guess it's all thanks to my annoying sisters, oddly enough.
Well, I think it's about that time I happily fantasize about my date tomorrow with Zayn (still not over the name..) tomorrow.
At least, I think it's a date....
