All eyes were on me when the 3 boys stood behind me. I lost my breath and almost wanted to faint when I turned around. The most attractive-looking one was staring into my eyes with his strong gaze. I quickly turned back and caught Atlan and Eli looking at me with a smirk.
" Girl , they're behind you .. " Eli whispers

" Wait , youre that mafia assasin girl right- " Alex asks out of the blue and i reply him with a nervous nod.
" And , youre Luke Andrews , son of the Italian Mafia Leader , Dante Andrews , right ? " i say with a innocent smile and all he does is keep a straight , emotionless face but the other boys give me an answer which was a yes.
At the end of asking questions , i notice most of the girls were staring at Luke when he just observes me with curiosity. I also realised that by the time lunch was over , all the boys were sitting at the table with Atlan , Eli and me . Turns out the 3 boys were close friends with Atlan and Eli.
Next period was music class. I guess i could say i was pretty good in music. I have learnt how to play the piano for 8 years , violin for 4 years and i know how to sing but that doesnt mean im good at singing.
Atlan was in the same music class as me , so she walked with me to the music room. First thing that caught my eyes was him. Yeah , the person i had to kill. And the person that was smoking hot. Kinda surprising how i havent heard his voice yet.
We sat in our seats that was assigned. I was sitting in between Ace and Luke. The tension that rised in me though. Mrs Wiesel came into the room and noticed that i was the new student. She gave a a unpleasing look and continued with her class.
" hello class , today we will be doing a small project but it requires you to be in groups of 3. I dont care who you choose but the project will be due by next month. This project requires you to write a heartbreaking and meaningful song. This will also be graded. I am going to give you all the rest of the class time to get into your groups and start discussing. " Mrs Wiesel announced with a stern and boring tone. Is she always like that ? a cannot-be-bothered grandma.
I look around and try to find someone that is willing to give me a chance and let me be in their group. I suddenly felt someone's chair being dragged towards me. He sat down and it was Luke He signalled Ace to bring his chair to my table too. Looks like theyre my group members.
" sooooo, do yall have any experience in music ?? like do yall play instruments or sing ?? " i ask , starting a conversation.
They both stare at me blankly.
" okay then" i say , taking out my notebook and i start jotting down lyrics alone.
" what you doing ? " a deep , smooth , attracting voice spoke. I looked up from my notebook to see that Luke asked that. I think theres butterflies in my stomach. I need help. SERIOUS.HELP.

" so not only you kill, you sing? " he says and i reply with a nod.

I chuckle along with him and my eyes land on Luke whose lips lifted into a small smile when he saw me smiling really big cause of Ace's small compliment. GIRL YOU HAVE TO KILL HIM BY THE END OF 4 MONTHS.
I walk out of the classroom to go to the restroom. And i felt hands come around my waist from the back. I let out a shocked gasp when i turned around. " how ? " I said as i saw Dom Jacobs. My ex.

" WHY WERE YOU KISSING HER ? " i shouted back at him.
" ESTELLA , YOURE OBVIOUSLY OVERREACTING. " he replied in a harsh tone.
" OH REALL- " before i could finish my sentence , i felt a hard slap on my face , leading me to land on the floor.
" stop talking back to me, Estella. " he gives me one more slap but this time a tighter and more painful one , and i spit blood out of my mouth.

Tears starts coming out of my eyes as i recall those horrible memories. His hands were still on my waist and he put a curl of my hair behind my ear. He then took his hand and slided it to hold my jawline , lifting up my chin so i can have a clear view of him. I stare blankly at him as he slowly leans nearer to my face , going in for a kiss. I tried to resist but his hands were strong. He's not in the mafia but hes one of the strongest people i know. I dont know why but everytime im around him , i suddenly feel weak. My muscles will turn wobbly and i dont have energy anymore. I knew that something bad was gonna happen to me if he and me got back together. I closed my eyes as he held me strongly and went in for a kiss. I immediately opened my eyes when his hands loosen and i heard him fall to the ground. A pair of hands grabbed my right arm and pulled me behind him. I looked up to see Luke. Luke Andrews.
Luke throws in another punch , and another , and another until Dom started getting unconscious. My hands crawled up to my face as i watch in horror. I may be the best assasin , but im a normal person with feelings too. I consider myself a delicate , fragile person.
" He saw you with that guy and knew you felt uncomfartable so he did something about it. " Ace explains as he stands beside me.
" oh.. " I say , knowing that Luke just saved my life. But sadly , i need to take away his before school year ends.
" hey , you aight ? " Luke asks me in a relaxed tone but with sincerity. I shake my head , right to left and i knew Luke could sense something was wrong. I suddenly break down in tears infront of him , i dont usually do that. Its embarassing. Next thing i know , he pulls me in and hugs me tightly while patting my head , " its gonna be fine. Stop crying. " he comforts me. Ace joins in the hug.
