CHAPTER 28: I WISH I DIED

Author's POV

"Are you sure we gonna do this Soobin?"

"Why?"

"Well I supposed to go alone and go sa-"then make him fooled you again?" That words make him speechless. As he recalled back.. he sure enough. He killed Taehyung. The bullet right on his chest. But why he still alive?

"No worries bro. I got you. Lets just finish him. We will let you go in alone. Meanwhile me and other squad gonna be prepared from here. Understood?"

He nodded. "If you say so. I just wanna retired from this job. I just need Jennie in my life. I just got her you know.."

"Yes I knew bro." He pat his shoulder. "Have you took your meds?" This quick question made Y/N's smiled faded. "Don't say not yet."

"I'm fine Soobin. No worries.."

Y/N being Y/N always said he's okay but deep inside we never know what he felt.

Y/N's POV

I approached the door..
Knock the door just like what I being told by Taehyung.

And the door being opened by two men.. they never give me chance to speak... they harshly raise my hand and took the gun that I put on my back which is I already expect this gonna be happened..one of the men pulled me and dragged me from there..

This bungalow looks manageable. I wonder is this where Taehyung hides for years?

He kept drag me and we stopped in front of the door. Which is I believed this is a basement. They keyin the passcode and push me inside.

Hella fucking big basement !

"JENNIE?"

I tried to call her. But seems like I hear my own voice.. echoing..

I keep on walking slowly..

Then I saw someone sitting on a chair..
Rope around her body..

"Jennie?"

She looked up at me and struggled to let herself free from the rope.

No wonder she can't answered me..

Quickly i go to her..

I peel off the cello tape from her lips slowly.. earning sobs from her.. she lay her head on my chest. "Im sorry Y/N. I'm sorry sweetheart. Im really sorry.." why she keep on apologizing?

"Jennie yaaa.." i slowly pull her head from my chest and look at her. Her eyes swollen. Her lips bleeding. Motherfucker! They hurt her!!

I gritted my teeth. Resting my forehead on her. "Jennie lets go home.."

She didn't say anything.. but I just take off the rope from her body. I helped her to stand up from the chair and slowly start to walk..

I stopped my track and there is Taehyung, his men and I believed the middle age man is his father.

"What do you want now Taehyung"

"Not that easy dude." "Take her."

A split second his men take away Jennie from me. "Y/N!!" She screamed.I tried to defence her but they were too fast. I received punch at my tummy.

"Y/N.. i wanna ask you a question.. why do you have to breakup with Jennie?"

"That's none of your business!"

"You sure? And end up she with me last time before you killed me and fortunately you are too dumb.. easily get fooled with my fake death" he finished his word with his laugh.

"At least I made her realized not to date with fucking guys useless like you." I spat back.

"HAHAHHHAA" he laughed again.

He pulled Jennie onto him..locking her neck.. aiming the gun to her head.

"Please no." I tried to go forward but my leg stopped when he shot on my right leg.. "Y/N!!" jennie screamed while eyeing me. I cant tell whats on her eyes right now. Is it because the eyes of love towards me.. or eyes of sorry towards me.. but sorry for what?

I hold my bloody leg.. squeeze it tight with my palms. I need to keep steadying. At least for Jennie my wife. I stood up.. trying to compose myself..

"Just now you said im the one fucking useless guy right? Now i want to tell you who useless right now..."

Taehyung put the gun to Jennie's hand . She didn't dare to look at me now.
A lot of questions running into my head. What's happening?

"Jennie. Now this is the right time for you to take the revenge. Kill him. That's what you want right? You working as secret agent for my father to get rid off him. Now kill him." Hearing this made my heart ache.. i almost forgot i been shot just now..

"Jennie? That's not true right?"

I pray silently. Just hope that's not true..

She just keep on silent still look on her feet.

I don't care Taehyung smirk or what right now cause this is real important compared to others.

She slowly lift her head and look at me..

I wish I just died last time when I saved her back then..

So that I never felt the pain of having cancer that lead me to terrible head everyday..

But the thing that truly pain right now is..
