Chapter 23

Myungsoo's P.O.V
After Daeyeol left we all gathered around Sungyeol, tried to calm him and understand him. Sungkyu hyung said some good words to Sungyeol and told us to take care of him. I knew what I had to do so I called Woohyun hyung and said, "Hyung, can I talk to Sungyeol. Only me and Sungyeol. You know I can handle him well."
He understood and agreed to my point and said, "Do you want all of us to leave?"
"If you wish."
"It will be better if we leave" he said. We went back to the circle and Woohyun hyung asked members to leave with him. While they were going I asked Dongwoo hyung to bring some drink for Sungyeol. Sungyeol was least interested in what was happening around. Dongwoo hyung brought juice, wished me luck and left.
"Sungyeolahh, drink this" I said while consoling him
"I don't want to" he was still angry.
"Sungyeol" I brought the glass near his mouth. He drank it.
"Say now" I said
"What?" he said
"What is this behavior of yours. Why are you like this suddenly" I said softly
"Myungsoo yaa. I am fed up. I can't handle all this anymore."
"Sungyeolahh what happened? What are you saying" I got worried and tensed
"Myungsoo, today I'll tell you everything"
"Yes say. I'm here for you" I said
"You remember I was drunk at the night of Infinite's Anniversary?"
"Yes"
"That day I drank to forget everything but she won't leave me alone. She won't let me live peacefully. Like others even you must've observed me sad and depressed in past few months, right?"
"Yes even I observed that but who won't let you live peacefully, who is she" I was very confused
"That girl was the reason of my sadness and depression." Whatever Sungyeol was saying was very confusing.
"Which girl Sungyeol?"
"My ex girlfriend" he stressfully said.
"What! What about her now? Didn't you say that you broke up with her long back." I asked with a doubt
"Yes, when we broke up she told me that I was not so good for her. But now after seeing me successful as an idol, she came back and is stating that she still loves me. I denied her but she is forcing me. I even ignored her texts and calls, I don't know where did she get my number"
"Ahh, that's why you changed your number"
"Yes and she accessed my this number too"
"Why didn't you tell this earlier and does anyone know about it?" I asked
"Because I didn't understand what to do. Yes, Daeyeol got to know about it by mistake" he said
"Oh, good he got to know otherwise you would've just endured it yourself" Sungyeol was very sad, his face became like he will cry in sometime.
"Myungsoo, I was so happy with my life. With heavy heart I let her go long back, I left all the pain that I had suffered without cursing anyone, I took all the blame on myself, then why..... why did she come back, why she wants to bring back all the dead. You know, she even blackmails me. I don't understand what to do" Tears fall from Sungyeol's eyes when he was saying. I hugged him.
"Sungyeolahh, calm down. Don't worry. You are not alone. I, all the members and your family is with you. You are not alone." I allowed his head to rest on my lap. I kept my hand on his forehead and slowly tapped his head to calm him down.
"Thank you Myungsoo" he said and smiled a bit. He was like a baby that time. After sometime he slept.
