Chapter 33

Sungkyu's P.O.V
CEO nim went back home and we were sitting in the woollim. The staff arranged everything well, we had a comfortable stay.
The next day, it was afternoon and we were watching news channel on T.V.  to check about us. I noticed Vinnie, she was on T.V.. As soon as Sungyeol saw Vinnie on television he said, "this girl, here? Is she still following us or what? What does she want?"
"Sungyeolah, lets see what is next" Hoya said and then the interview started.
"She doesn't seem like a toxic fan" Sungjong said
"Yes, she says quite good things about us" Woohyun said
"She is lying" Sungyeol said in anger
"Sungyeolahh. Stop" I said. In the mid of interview I noticed Sungyeol was uncomfortable, maybe because of Vinnie.
After few days
I was sitting with my phone and I noticed a message from Vinnie. I wondered where did she get the number from. I replied her and she called me. We had a conversation on call and she told me that she found a clue. She sent me a voice recording and a picture of the girl and Vinnie together. I was listening to the recording when Sungyeol came from behind."Hyung, who's voice is this?"
"Huh?" I was confused. He took phone from my hand and was listening to the recording."Hyunggg" he screamed
"Yes, what happened" I replied quickly
"What is this?"
"What?" I asked and he shown me a picture of Vinnie and the girl.
"Why is she with her" he shouted
"Sungyeolahh, I'll explain everything. Listen carefully and calmly"
We both sat and then I started. I told him everything from the day when I met Vinnie to what happened today."....So Vinnie doubts that this lady is the one doing all this" I said in the end
"Hyung, I think Vinnie is right" he said
"What? Sungyeolahh, do you know something too?" I asked
"Actually hyung. I know this girl"
"This reporter?"
"Yess"
"How? How do you know her?"
"Hyung. I don't know how to tell"
"Tell, we need to do something. We cannot have this scandle tag on us even if you all are dating"
"What! And what about you. Hyung, you are not dating. You are directly marrying her" he laughed and said
Aish! This kid" I said
"Okay come to main topic now. Tell me" I said
"Hyung, she is my.........."
"Your who?" I asked quickly
"My...my.. girlfriend" he said and I was stunned. Everything in my hand dropped and I stood up in a shock."What? What are you saying?"
"No no hyung. I mean, she is my ex-girlfriend. The girl who cheated on me." he explained me his story, that she was troubling him.
"So, do you want to say that she is doing this to trouble you?" I asked
"Maybe" he said
"But then, she would do that only to you. Why all of us?"
"I don't know hyung"
"Okay, I'll discuss this with CEO nim. We will find a way."
"Okay hyung. Please let me know the updates"
I called CEO nim right after that."Yes Sungkyu?"
"Hyung, I got to know something."
"What? what is it? Tell me fast"
"As I said, my source has doubt on a person. I'll send you the proof against the person and also, Sungyeol claims that the girl maybe doing this to trouble Sungyeol"
"What? Why Sungyeol?"
"He says, the lady is his ex-girlfriend who is troubling him now"
"Aigooo"
"Hyung but if she had to trouble Sungyeol, why is she troubling us too. We should find that"
"Actually we got to know about the newsroom from where this was released. We will check about that person and others involved in this"
"Yes hyung"
"It would be great if the clues help. Now, we will manage everything. Tell your sources to stop working on it or else they might get in trouble because of more investigation"
"Yes hyung"
"BTW did you like the place? Is everything going well?"
"Yes hyung. The place is really good and we are doing our assigned task well. The staff is really helpful."
"Yes, I have sent you all there because its a safe place and no one should know what INFINITE is upto."
"Yes, Yes"
"Okay, you rest now. Send me the proof. I'll hang up the call now"
"Okay hyung. Take care. Bye"
"What did hyung say?" Sungyeol asked as soon as the call ended
"He said that he will manage rest matter"
"Ahhh, why is she doing this to me. When will I get out of this"
"Sungyeolah, it's okay. After hyung finds out about who is involved, we all will speak the truth and end this."
"Truth?" Sungyeol asked in shock
"I know it's difficult"
"Hyung, our fans will accept us, right?"
"Don't worry dear. You saw in the interview how our fans are there for us. They will accept for how we are now"
"Yes, I know. I trust them"
"Okay, lets go to the members."
We went to members. They were sitting and talking."Sungyeolah, can I tell them about your girlfriend?" I asked to Sungyeol
"Myungsoo knows about it. Yes, you can tell them. And hyung, she is my ex-girlfriend"
"Oh yes yes." I laughed
"Guys, we need to talk about something"
"We are already talking" Woohyun said
"Want to see Sungyeol's girlfriend" I said directly
"Hyung" Sungyeol shouted
"Oh yeah. Ex-girlfriend"
"What" Woohyun said
"Yes, yes" Sungjong said
"Sungyeol" Myungsoo looked at Sungyeol and said. Dongwoo started laughing and Hoya was just smiling. I showed them the picture in my phone that Vinnie sent."You had two girlfriends?" Hoya said
"Hyung? Two?" Sungjong said
"Which one?" Myungsoo asked
"I didn't know Sungyeol had two girlfriends" Dongwoo said and laughed
"Sungyeolah, you are way to fast" Woohyun said
"She is beautiful"
"Ahh, this other girl is cute too but isn't she too young Sungyeol?"
"She is pretty"
"Sungyeolahh you had pretty girlfriends." Everyone said many things and I burst out laughing. Sungyeol made a small face and was sitting.
