Chapter 4

Elle POV

So many new people. I'm really quite shy and it takes me a while before I warm up to people before I can have a proper conversation with them. But Tommy, he seemed different. His voice was nice and soft like he was going to be there for you. I quite liked Tommy, with his dirty blonde hair and beautiful ocean blue eyes. He is so pretty. (69thword) What- no I can't think that. I just met him a minute ago, He is such an awesome friend. Friends call each other pretty right? That's normal I think. I've never had a friend before. "So, Elle....." Nick questions. "Yeah." I reply. "You seemed to have been connecting with Tommy I see?" He teases. I blush really heavily and stare at the ground. "I just met him, he is only a friend. And besides, even if I did like him he wouldn't feel the same way towards me." I respond hoping that they drop the comment. Nick and George both give each other a look and try not to laugh. "You to would make a good couple" George says proudly. "Yeah, like you and Dream" I say smartly to his face. He goes a dark red and just looks at the floor while Nick's laughing his head off. "We should go home now, Dream has something planned for you" Nick tells me once he has calmed down. Clay, did something, for me? 

Dream POV 

"Elle" I yell as I see her, Sapnap and George walk towards the house. She looks up at me as I walk over to her and grab her hand. "Where are we going?" She asks. "Its a surprise" I say. After about 5 minutes we reach the arena. "How good are you at fighting?" I ask. She just shrugs her shoulders. "I'm alright I guess" She said.  I put her in front of all the gear and we put it on, leather armour and wooden swords, practice equipment. We start and I go easy on her. She blocks all my hits and gets a few hit on me as well. So I start going harder and so does she. 10 minutes in and I'm playing to the best of my ability and she is just blocked all my shots so quick. And got so many hits on me. After an hour of training I give up and let her take the obvious win. "How are you so good?" I ask. She looks at me in the eye and says "I know you were going easy the whole time so I didn't try too hard." I stood there in shock. "That was your 'easy'?!" I half yelled. "Yeah I guess, I knew you were going easy so I didn't bother showing you what I can actually do" She replies. "Why are you standing there with your mouth open? Did I do something wrong?" She starts to panic. "No no, you did nothing wrong, at the end I played to my full ability and you said you were going easy?!" I say still in shock. "Oh, yeah I guess so. That's what I used to do when Bella locked me in my room for hours, I'd just learn to fight." She shrugged like it was no big deal. I looked her in the eyes and said "Elle, we are in war with L'manburg at the moment and I was wondering if you would like to fight along side me and the boys?" she stared at me for a moment taking in what I just said. 

Elle POV

"Elle, we are in war with L'manburg at the moment and I was wondering if you would like to fight along side me and the boys?" Clay said to me. That would be amazing fighting alongside my brother. But I thought over to the people who I had met this morning. Wilbur, Nikki, Fundy, Tubbo and Tommy. Tommy. Would he want me to fight against him? Probably not. He is my one and only real friend. But my brother brought me back from my past, this is the least I can do to repay him, right? "I would love to fight along side you Clay" I reply firmly, but still soft. He pulls me into a hug. "I knew you would."

*Time skip to afternoon say around 2 or 3 hours after training with Dream*

"Ok Clay, I'm going out for a bit, I'll be back in about an hour." I yell out. "Ok, stay safe Elle" Is all I hear before I close the door and run off. L'manburg here I come. As I step inside the walls of L'manburg I am greeted by Fundy himself. "Hello Fundy, I was wondering where Tommy was?" I ask. Fundy points to a small hill where a pretty house is. "He should be in there" He tells me. I really wanted to see my new friend. I nod and walk up to the house. I knock and become nervous. What if he doesn't want me here. What if he gets to know me and thinks I'm weird. Then the door opens. "Elle.." He says confused. "Hi" I say. "Come in" He says quietly. "What are you doing in L'manburg?" He asks. "I was bored at home, Clay didn't have anything to do and I wanted to see you." I say rushing the last part. He smiles, letting me know that he heard what I said. "Well, I finished training for today, so do you want to watch a movie?" He asks. "Ok sure!" I reply. "What movie should we watch?" He asks. "OooOOOo, we should watch Civil war!" I announce happily. He smiles at my excitement. Halfway through the movie I fell myself falling asleep. I fall asleep on Tommy's shoulder and I feel him stiffen up and then slowly relax. 

Tommy POV

I was watching the movie and it was quite interesting. I was going to point something out in the movie to Elle when I felt a weight on my shoulder. I stiffen up quickly. What do I do, What do I do, What do I do, there is a woman asleep on my shoulder. I realise that she is probably asleep so I relax and let her be comfortable. When the movie ends, I grab a blanket and put it over her to keep her warm. "Goodnight Elle" I say before hopping into bed myself. I look over at her and feel my stomach do flips, she looked so peaceful. No Tommy. You met her the other day. You are just friends.

*time skip to morning*

I wake up and go downstairs realising that Elle is still asleep. She looks so cute when she sleeps. What, no you can't think that. I shake my head and push the thought aside. I decide to make pancakes for breakfast because they are my favourite and I hope that she will like them too. "Tommy...?" I hear Elle say. "Yes?" I reply, her morning voice is so cute. "What are you making?" She asks. "Oh, I'm making pancakes, its a family recipe." I say proudly. When she hears me talk about my family she winces slightly and puts on a smile for me. "That sounds nice," she says "They smell amazing". I evenly divide the pancakes among our plates and we start eating. "Oh my Tommy, these are amazing!" She exclaims. When we finish I offer to take her around L'manburg. "Oh- I forgot to tell Dream that I was staying over!" She exclaims quickly and panicky. "Hey, its ok, I can go home with you so that Dream knows your safe. We can do the tour another day" She nods slowly and I start walking her to her house. It isn't far away, so our conversations are mostly small talk. Even though we only met a few days ago, I feel like I have known her forever. When we get to her house, we both take a deep breath and walk in the door. The first thing I see is the green blob on the couch looking worried as hell. Elle gives Dream a hug. "I was so worried about you Elle, please don't do that again" He explains, nearly crying. "I'm sorry Clay, I didn't realise how late it was and I just fell asleep" She explains. "At Tommyinnit's house" He says kinda mad. "And....." Elle says. Dream shakes his head and gives her a look saying 'I'll talk about it later' she just nods her head. "As for you young man," He says looking at me "We need white flags, white flags! Tomorrow morning or you are dead!" He yells. Which sets me off a bit. Elle comes up to me and gives me a hug. "I'm sorry about him, but honestly, white flags would make life easier for the both of us" She quietly tells me. I just nod my head and walk out the door. I was cursing to myself. Of course Dream had to yell and him and make him look stupid . In front of a woman as well! Well, now to talk to Wilbur and Tubbo I guess.
