|Chapter Fifteen: Dealing With The Dramatics|

"Okay but look at it this way, if you look at her first then her sister she looks older" Carson said as I approached the table
"I don't even want to know what is going on right now" I said making the boys chuckle
"Carson is trying to convince us that the girl he went on a date with is legal" Toby said making Carson show me the photo
"Yeah she is" I said making the boys look at me confused but Carson looked victorious
"What makes you say that?" Liam asked
"I know her, that is Leah" I said making Carson nod
"it is indeed" Carson replied
"She is actually 3 years older then us" I replied making Carson a little confused
"Regardless she doesn't look it, you women are dangerous" Wyatt said and I chuckled
"Got to keep you boys on your toes somehow" I said 
We all sat there chatting while eating when all of a sudden someone tapped me on the shoulder
I turned to see Kelly stood there
Confusion was all that was running through my head, why was she here
"Can we talk?" She asked now grabbing the boys attention too, I glanced over to where Adam was sitting. He was staring at the pair of us, I sighed and nodded following her outside

"I just want to start by saying I am so sorry" Kelly started earning a confused look again, I don't know why she was telling me this
"I wish I had never met him, I wish I had never gone through all of that" She cried
"Kelly, what did he do this time" I asked
"He got angry last night talking about how I'm not you and I never will be. He regrets breaking up with you and seems to be taking his aggression out on me" She said, oh how I know how much that stings
I glanced back inside seeing Liam look at me a little worried, I offered him a warm smile
"I know what we need to do but you have to trust me" I said, she looked at me a little worried and scared and honestly I couldn't blame her. This was going to be a big step for her
"What is it" she asked
"We are going to walk over to him, take your things and leave, the next step will follow shortly" I said and she frantically shook her head in a panic
"If I go near him he'll do it again" she whispered 
"no he won't I'll be there to. He isn't going to lay a hand on you! I promise" I said taking her hands into mine to show her a little comfort
"Lets go" She stuttered, I held her hand tightly as we walked back inside. Liam and the boys eyes were on me more and more with every step closer towards Adam
"What are you doing Kelly" Adam said but he didn't get a response from Kelly at all, instead she did as instructed and picked up her back 
Of course she wasn't going to be able to do it without some sort of backlash
Adam grabbed her bag pulling it towards him in a sense to stop her from leaving
"Let it go" I warned him
"Or what Nellie, you won't do shit" He said now standing up trying to tower over me
"She might not, but we will" I heard Liam call across the canteen
Adam let go of the bag slowly regretting his every move
"You've got this" I whispered to Kelly
"Getting her to play the victim too Nellie? When are you going to learn, nobody will ever believe you" He laughed, I turned back to look at him
"Believing or not, I'm going to be here to haunt you your entire life, everything you have done to me I will make sure you will never get the change to do it to anyone else" I warned him which only seemed to make him laugh
"good luck Nellie. I was the best thing to ever happen to you and you will come crawling back soon" He said and I shook my head
"I'm a different person now Adam. I don't need you and I realise now I never did" I said before taking Kelly's hand again walking out of the canteen. Our next stop was a place that I knew for a fact was needed, it was something I should have done months ago but I never had to confidence to..

"Principal Matthews, two girls are here to see you" The receptionist said as we stood by his door
"Send them in" He replied before the receptionist stood aside allowing us to walk in
"What can I help you girls with" He asked, I looked at Kelly who looked scared
"We need to talk to you about something that has been ongoing for a while, at first it only affected me and I let it control my life but now I can see it happening to Kelly as well. I think it has gotten to the point it is too big for either of us to handle" I explained to him, he looked between Kelly and I with confusing all over his face
"What is going on girls" He asked, I turned to Kelly and nodded letting her know she was safe and was allowed to speak of it
"It's about a boy" Kelly muttered
"More specifically Adam Henderson" I added

After a long 2 hour conversation Kelly and I had told the principal about everything that was going on behind the scene. Kelly's story was a lot worse then she had let on, I won't lie I had a few skeletons in my closet and nobody knew about but that didn't stop the end result being the same
"Mary call Adam Henderson to my office now. And notify the police" he said making Kelly look at me with worry
"Kelly It's okay now" I reminded her
"Girls, I'm so sorry that as a school we weren't able to protect you but I promise you now that behaviour isn't and never has been acceptable" The principal said
"Thank you sir" I said as there was a knock at the door
"Adam Henderson for you sir" The receptionist said revealing Adam stood there
"Thank you girls, I'll take it from here" The principal said allowing Kelly and I to leave and hopefully that means we can leave Adam in the past
