{TEN}

|Chapter Ten: The Cove|

I woke up the next morning to Liam's arm gently laying on my waist while I laid pressed up against his chest, I guess we somehow ended up cuddling while sleeping
"Morning" his groggy voice sounded making me a smile a little
"Good morning" I said as he pulled me a little closer
"Please say you are both clothed" My dads voice said as he knocked on the door
"come in dad" I said sitting up
"Are you guys ready?" He asked and I looked at him confused, as did Liam
"We are going to the Cove! Get up! We leave in 20" I said before heading out of the room
"The cove?" Liam asked
"Oh you are going to love this" I smiled getting out of bed to get ready

30 minutes later and we were hear, I love this place more then I think I will ever met, It's the perfect mix between a rocky path and a beach, I grew up loving it every time we came home to visit my grandparents we would all spend countless hours here
"This place is amazing" Liam said only seeing a small part of it
"Come on slow coach" I said taking his hand and following dad
We went to the main part of the cove where we could see people jumping off of the rocks, some people chilling on the little bit of sand and some people swimming around
"woah" Liam breathed out finally being able to see everything
"Isn't this place great" I said as we put all of our things down" I said he frantically nodded before throwing me over his shoulder
"What are you doing" I laughed before he chuckled and started walking
I had no idea where he was going until I saw his feet finally enter the water
"No no no Liam put me down" I said making him evilly laugh
"If you say so" he said instantly dropping me into the water, I came back up with a disapproving look on my face as Liam burst out laughing
"You told me to put you down" He said earning a slap from me
"Hey chilll" he continued before I pushed him causing him to lose his footing and fall into the water
He didn't come straight back up and I won't lie it scared me a little, I turned around thinking that he had swam to the other side of me in an attempt to scare me but I was sorely mistaken
"Liam" I called out with the worry multiplying in my mind
"Liam!" i screamed before i felt two arms wrap around me pulling me under the water too
"I'm going to kill you!" I yelled coming back up the surface, his arms still around me supporting me
"No you won't" He laughed kissing my cheek
"Nellie! Liam!" Dad called making us both look at him before pulling apart and going over

As we got over to my dad we could see he was not alone, there he stood with another woman and her son
"Who's this?" I asked 
"Nellie, this is Lucy and her son Nick" Dad said pointing to the lady and her son
"Lucy Nick, this is my daughter Nellie and her boyfriend Liam" dad said
"It's nice to finally meet you, your dad has told me so much about you" Lucy said
"Oh really? I'm sorry but I don't think he has ever mentioned you to me" I said bowing my head
"Nellie, this is my partner, Lucy" he said acting as if he had told me about this
"They've been together for over a year now" Nick said making me raise my eyebrows at my dad
"Excuse us" I said taking dad's arm dragging him away
"Look Nels" He started but I shook my head
"no don't Nels me. You've been dating another woman for over a year and have never thought of mentioning it?" I asked
"It's not I didn't think of mentioning it, it was more of I could never find the right time.. There was always something going on" he said
"So what changed now?" i asked
"I don't know, you seem happy with Liam so I figured that if you reacted badly to the news he would be there to help soften the blow for you" He said causing me to look back at Liam who had worry written all over his face
"Are you happy?" I asked looking back at dad
"what" he asked
"are you happy? With Lucy?" I asked again 
"Yes honey, yes i am" he said causing me to sigh
"Then that is all that matters" I replied making him smile
"I couldn't care less who you are dating daddy, as long as you are happy and they aren't going to completely isolate me and disregard our relationship. I am more then over the moon for you, I just wish you had told me sooner" I said and he nodded
" I know pumpkin and I am sorry I didn't" He said hugging me
First a new uncle and now a possible new step mother and step brother
