Chase and Skye's Love Story

Chapter 6

The next morning.....

Chase's POV
When I woke up, Skye was still asleep and she snuggling me. I smiled to her and I didn't wanna wake her up so I stayed. Why would she be snuggling me? Does she like me?
After 10 minutes she started to move a bit. She slowly opened her eyes and said. "Good morning Chase." "Good morning Skye." I said. We stared at each other for awhile. I was looking straight at her beautiful magenta eyes. We didn't even blink.
We were interrupted by a "awwwww" from outside. It was Ryder and Marshall. "You look so cute together." Marshall said. We both started and blush a bit. "Chase, why is Skye sleeping with you?" Ryder asked. "You too did IT again, did you?" Marshall added.
"What the heck, no! It's because Skye had a nightmare and she was a bit scared to sleep alone." I said blushing a bit. "It's true." Skye said.
"Okay, but are you sure that you too don't like each other?" Ryder asked. "YES!" We both said at the same time as we blushing. Why does this keep happening! Anyway when did they comeback from the trip?

Skye's POV
Why does everyone think that me and Chase are dating. I don't even know if he likes me or not. I have to confess to him some how. Maybe I should tell Everest about it.
"Alright you too breakfast is ready." Ryder said walking away. When me and Chase came into the Lookout, Rocky said out loud. "Well well, look at the couple that had sex last night." Me and Chase started to blush a bit and shout to Rocky . "SHUT UP ROCKY!!!" We both said at the same time. Why does that keep happened!!!

Chase's POV
Rocky is so stupid. Why he had to say that? "Why does everyone think that way?" I asked. "Well we all think that you too would make a great couple." Rubble said with his mouth full of food. "Aren't you two dating?" Zuma asked. "We are not." Skye said. "You both will, if you two kiss each other." Rocky said laughing. "We are not kissing!" We both said still blushing. "When they start dating, I will call them, Chasy. "Zuma said. "Chasy. That's never gonna match them. I'll call them, Skase." Rocky said. "Skase it is" Rubble said.
All of my friends were laughing, while Skye looked a bit sad and blushed. I was filling up with rage and I grabbed my bowl and walked outside of the lookout to eat alone.

Skye's POV
"Chase, wait!" I shout. He walked outside with his food bowl. "Guys stop please!" Marshall said. "What?" Rocky said laughing. "Didn't you see Chase was upset and went outside?" I said.
The others stopped laughing and noticed that Chase wasn't there. They all looked down into there paws and noticed that they have made Chase really upset. "Didn't you know Chase gets really sensitive in this age?" Ryder said. "Sorry, Ryder. We didn't meant to do that." The others said. "Skye and Marshall you both should probably go to him and check on him." Ryder said.

Marshall's POV
"I feel really bad for Chase. He is our second leader and he shouldn't be bullied or insulted like this." I told Skye. "Yeah, you're right. I hope he's doing okay." Skye said. Chase has been my best friend for years and I don't like seeing Chase been bullied or insulted.

Skye's POV
I never liked seeing my crush to be bullied by his friends. They should respect there own leader. I'm kinda mad at my friends. When they say those stuff at us, Chase was blush. Why would he blush? Does he like me? Naaaaa! He will never like me.
When me and Marshall went to check on Chase, he was in his pup house eating. "Chase, are you okay?" Marshall asked. "Why would I be okay! Everybody things that I'm in love with...Skye. But I'm not in love with her! I just like her as a friend." Chase said.
Chase doesn't love me! Now I'm really heart broken. I knew he doesn't like me I knew he doesn't love me.

Chase's POV
What did I just say. I should have never ever said that. I will always love Skye. Skye looks pretty upset when I said that. "Skye, I mean that. I'm in love with you. I still like you as a friend okay?" I said. "It's okay. I understand." She said a bit happy. "Let's the others know that I'll be there in a few minutes." I told Marshall. "Sure." He replied.
I'm glad that Skye understood. Wait, does it mean others know that I like Skye?! Oh no! What am I gonna do!

Rocky's POV
"We should have never done that." I said. "Yeah, Chase is our second leader we should not do that him." Zuma added. I saw Marshall and Skye coming into the Lookout. "Hey, is Chase okay?" I asked. "He will be here in a few minutes." Marshall said. "Pups, as soon as Chase comes in, apologize to him okay?" Ryder said.

Chase's POV
I don't really wanna go inside of the Lookout, but I don't wanna see my friends feel so guilty. So I guess I have to go in.
After I was done eating, I headed back to the Lookout. Pups where waiting for me. "Chase, we are really really sorry for saying those things at you." Rocky said. "Please accept our apology." Zuma added. "It's okay guys, just promise me not to do that again." I said. "We promise!" Everybody said at the same time.
Skye was looking at me and gave me smile. I kinda blushed and I smiled her back. I'm glad that my teammates agreed on not shipping me and Skye.

That Afternoon.....

Chase's POV
I was playing soccer with my friends and I didn't really wanna focus on the game. I kept my eyes on Skye. She is the most athletic pup I met.
I was being the goalie. I didn't get my eyes of on Skye until, Marshall shouted. "Chase! Look out!" When I snapped out I was hit by the ball, hard in my face. "Chase. I'm sorry are you okay." Rubble said. "Ya, I'm fine. No need to worry." I said. It actually really hurts. I just didn't want anyone to worry so much.

Skye's POV
When we were playing soccer I didn't focus that much. I was looking at Chase during the whole game. Even when I'm running. But then, he just got hit by the ball really hard in the face. He said not to worry, but I think he is lying. I knew it by looking at his face. He was in pain. "Chase, are you sure you don't need a medical attention? Cause I think that you are really hurt." I asked. "Skye I'm fine. I don't need a check up or anything." He said. "Well I could give you a quick check up." Marshall said. "No thanks buddy, I'm fine." He said.
He is not fine. "Anyway I'm just gonna take a quick break." He said and walked off to his pup house. I hope he will be okay.

Chase's POV
I went to my Pup house to drink some water. God my head really hurts. Maybe I should get Marshall. When I was drinking some water, Marshall coming towards me. "Hey buddy, is your head okay?" He asked. "Well it kinda hurts. But other wise I'm okay." I said.
I think I should tell Marshall that I have a crush on Skye. "Marshall, can you keep a secret?" I ask. "Sure." He said. "You promise me not to tell anyone about it." I said. "Yes, I promise." He said. "I have a crush on Skye." I said blushing. "Oh, I already know." He said. "Wait what?!". I said confused. "I always think that you have a crush on Skye." He said. "Okay. Well I need your help. I need some advice on how to confess to her that I love her." I said. "Well you could tell her right now or you could go out with her and then confess to her." He said.
Both are great options but which one should I pick?
