evie's pov:

i mean he was staring. i had to tell him too otherwise his jaw would have fallen on the floor, and that's some serious damage.
"oh - i - um" the boy spoke

i stood up from the piano and took my chord sheet with me. i held my hand out in front of the awkward boy.

"i'm evie"

he stared blankly at me.
maybe americans don't do the whole hand shake thi-

deep in my thoughts the boy picked up my hand a shook it. "i'm henry. henry fraser" he smiled. "my dads british too" he pointed out.

"i'm guessing my accent is noticeable?,so henry, what brings you here to the music room so early in the morning" i asked with a smug look on my face pacing around the room.
"oh uh my violin" he stuttered. i eyes followed around him until i saw the figure of the case on his back. "violin huh? interesting, well it was nice to meet you, it's nice to know i can at least put one name to a face" i said while smiling and leaving the music room.

henry's pov:
of course, she was the new student our headteacher was talking about. no wonder why i didn't recognise her. shit.
she seems cool i guess.

the bell rang before i even got a chance to take my violin case of my back. had it really been that long in here.

i stared walking to class and realised that i was late and it had already started. shit.

i hate history with every bone in my body but i dragged myself to the door and just knocked.

the teacher told me to come in."mr.fraser i assume you have a reason to be late" she says.
"i- um- i was-" i stuttered while walked to the only empty seat left."violin" i spoke up.
i heard the faint laughs in the class. excerpt from the person next to m-

"we meet again mr.fraser"
piano girl.

evie's pov:
the teacher explained what were were going to be doing for the next couple of weeks.
the titanic.
i didn't mind doing it to be honest but i much rather world wars or even murde-

i heard the door slam open while a rushing student runs in, the teacher started to speak louder overbearing my thoughts.

it was him. violin boy.

he scrambled to his seat while explaining his reasons for being late. "violin" he muttered, the class faintly laughed.
i'm guessing some people weren't a fan of henry's interests.

"we meet again mr.fraser" i spoke up to him since he hadn't realised who he was sitting next to i assume. "oh uh hey evie" he spoke up his eyes lingering a little longer than they should of . "hey violin boy" i did while nudging him and focusing my attention back to the teacher, before she spoke up.

"the project is due in by thursday morning, anyone who fails to bring it in will get detention" the teacher spoke after about an hour of class. henry rose his hand meaning to ask a question. "do we get to choose our partners"  he says lowering his tone.
"your partners will be who your seated next to,
class dismissed" henry's face went blank i couldn't tell what he was thinking one bit. "oh um ok" he quietly spoke back.

the kids scrambled around with their bags before leaving, me and henry took a bit more time discussing how we would get it done.

it took a lot of awkward looks and messed up words before henry just said.

"my house at 5?" henry spoke while picking up his bag. "sounds great, if i knew where your house was?"

henry then realised his stupidity, he grabbed a random notepad and ripped out a sheet and wrote his address. "here you go" he gave you the little peace of paper and walked out of the door turning back to smile.

the day went quickly, classes weren't at all amazing but they weren't terrible. me and henry sat together at mostly every lesson. every. i could feel eyes on me every now and then i figured it was just a feeling of stress due to my first day but looking to the side of me proved my point wrong.

henry had no stealth.
