"And the avengers reveal themself" the voice chuckled and Loki stepped out onto the balcony Cecilia sat on – his graze solely on the sitting women as his golden armour materialised into place. Taking in the new look. "Looking lovely dear~"

"Why, thank you" the women purred the black veil shifting as she turned towards the god. The Chitauri descending onto the busy streets below.

"Enjoying yourself?" he asked as screams rose from the streets below.

"of course, carnage is a beautiful thing, don't you agree?" he could hear the smirk on her face.

He was about to replay and stepping closer to the women. Rising the sceptre– if he couldn't have tony stark as his distraction then the lady would do, maybe, she couldn't be holding back this time. He moved an inch but stopped, a frowned pulling at the corner of his lips. The shadows swelled unnaturally so - under her sitting form, eyes narrowing the power lingering in the air, it would take time to get closer.

There was a light thud Thor landed onto the balcony below them. Interrupting Loki train of thought. "Loki!" turning towards his adopted brother, as Thor yelled anger could be heard on his voice, "Turn off the tesseract or I'll destroy it!"

"You can't." Loki responded pointing his sceptre towards his brother. Once apron a time they had been true brothers, despite their differences. He couldn't remember what started the change – how the hate had grown deep inside him, his memories fussy. But the memory of Thor standing above him doing nothing as he fell from the Bifrost. That one was clearer and he would get his revenge. "There is no stopping it. There is only war!"

"So be it"

Loki roared, jumping from the balcony swinging his sceptre downwards onto Thor or would have if the man hadn't stepped sideways - swinging his hammer towards Loki's chest only to be intercepted by the golden staff. Loki grinned griping the end of the staff swinging it in a wide arch. Thor stepped back, out of range before bringing his hammer up to block a blast to the face.

Cecilia sat still on the higher balcony, a frown donning her features. Her concentration was torn. The Chituari were darting about around her, many moving fast, it was becoming slowly harder for her to differentiate between the alien creatures and the humans running about below her. Though she wasn't to fussed if she caught the wrong person in her shadows. She doubted the others would be too pleased with her.

And then there was Loki battling with Thor.

The fight was a physical fight, even though Loki was a magic user. That itself confused her greatly. The man had used magic against her in the ship – it would have been the only way to counter her shadows – he'd even attack her with magic. Yet here the magic user was fighting a physical fight – it did make you question what was really going on inside the gods head.

Obliviously, in a physical fight without using his magic tricks, the trickster god was at a disadvantage against the brute strength Thor had – so why, if the man wanted to break his brother and take over the world was, he not using anything he had to his advantage?

Cecilia narrowed her eyes, it irritated her that she did have the full answer to the mystery before her.

There was an explosive, as the power from Loki staff and Thor hammer blasted the 'K' off the stark tower – partly destroying the balcony to prevent the fighting duo from falling. Several of the Chitauri flew passed her sitting from, before unleashing their blasters onto the mundanes below. Only to be blown out the sky by the shield plane. It seems the rest of the crew (bar branner) had made it to the battle. Her head followed the ships progress at it flew across the front of the building before releasing fire onto the god below.

As much as Cecilia would have liked to have followed the ship crashing and check on the people inside with her mind eyes. She loses track of her fellow avengers; it wasn't a surprised but she knew that they were alive.

Which was what mattered.

She blinked turning her head upwards as a large object entered her field of focus. The thing that had stopped her following the ships progress. The thing she was distracted by - the large flying whale like creature that came though the portal high in the sky above her.

"Stark are you seeing this?"

The voice called though on the ear coms.

"Seeing. Still working on believing" tony voice called though with a tone of disbelief. "Where banner? Has he shown up yet?"

"Banner?" Steve answered with a confused tone.

"Just keep me posted, okay?"

"He's making his way. He will be here soon" Cecilia calm voice called though the speaker.

"Good to know you're okay Milady" Nastasha called, before returning her attention to the fight at hand.

Loki a few moments earlier had flung Thor away before turning his attention to the now firing ship. raised his sceptre and send a blast towards one of the engines. as the ship began to lose altitude and control, Thor glared at his once beloved brother before lunging at him. Trading blows with his fists before his hands were able to grip tightly onto his brothers' green robes. Forcing the tricker god to stare into his eyes.

Blue stared back instead of the usually green.

Thor didn't dwell on the Cecilia's words from earlier instead spoke. Anger lining his words as he tried to get Loki to see reason. "Look at this" he could barely conceal the growl in his voice. As Loki stared at the destruction and chaos around them.

Of the blood curling screams echoing between gun fire. For a moment blue faded to green – a horrified expression overtaking the gods features before the mask snapped back into place and blue hues returned. "Look around you!" Thor continued not noticing the change. "You think this madness will end with your rule"

"it's too late" Loki responded patting slightly before turning towards the city once more, "it's too late to stop it..."

Thor gave a slight shake of his head, "no, we can stop it! Together"

A look of hope pass Loki face before vanishing as he plumed the small dagger into his adopted brother without remorse, his eyes once again blue. Thor staggered backwards, dropping to his knees as pain overtook his sense. Both from physical and mental anguish.

"Sentiment" Loki muttered staring at his once beloved brother.

Thor growled in anger, before flinging himself at Loki, the latter falling backwards in surprised. Shattering the glass wall of the balcony. Quickly, rolling out the way of another strike from an angered Thor. The pair descending back into another baot of fist... Loki staff laying lifelessly on the ground.

Another thing that annoying Cecilia as she studied the fighting pair.

Not a moment later, Loki escaped rolling off the balcony into the air below. Crouching on a flying air craft. Leading the way and deceasing Choas onto the already terrified city below.

"He's fighting it you know" Ceclia's voiced called to Thor as the male pulled the dagger from his side.

"Hes with the enemy. That it clear"

"What is clear, is that the magicianisn'tusing his magic. If that doesn't tell you something I don't know what would."
