Cecilia stepped out into an alleyway, shadows surrounding her on all sides at she returns to the battlefield. Filing away the new knowledge she had for later. Now she had a battle to partake in.

She replaced the earpiece back into her ear to hear the buzzing for the group's conversation – just in time to hear Natasha asking for a little help to her confused partner. She stepped out onto the battered street shadows protruding from the ground in solid spikes to emeries getting too close for comfort.

Her head snapped sideways, as a body crashed into the ground flattening the Chitauri about to shoot her from the cover of a turned over car. "Thank you, hulk" she called over to the larger hulk.

"Hulk smash! Nice lady enemies"

"That you do!" she gave a beast a small wicked smile.

"Guys! We have an issue! A squad of Chitauri have entered the subway" clint called over the comms.

"I'll go," the captain stated, "where?"

"Actually, captain I think I'm more suited for this" the lady irrupted.

"But-"

"Darling, I'm used to the darkness. You on the other hand are needed on top where your skills can shine" she spoke leaving no more for argument, "hulk, to you mind giving me a ride?"

The beast roared, before surprisingly gently picking the lady up with one arm before jumping into the air.

"I didn't even tell them where" mutter clint standing on a building. He took his head before returning his attention back towards the chiturai attempting to follow Nat on the hovercraft.

The hulk dropped her before the subway entrance before jumping away – towards starks tower having spotting the golden glimmer of gold heading towards the building.

She descended the steps, letting her shadows merge with the darkness of the dim lights. Darkness overtook subway causing all the creatures, human or not to freeze in their place. The was a clicking like chatter from the chiturai who were the first to break out of the shook despite they instincts screaming for them to run.

The group turned – away from the direction of smelly humans only to be meet with two white orbs. A bright white in the darkness like the moon in a starless night sky.

- break time-

Cecilia stepped out into the bright daylight to spot; the shadowy figure of stark fly towards the centre of the wormhole with what appeared to be a nuke? Her dark locks fluttering in the wind caused by the metal man.

"Is that a bomb stark?"

"a nuke courtesy of shield!" stark grunted into the comms, "don't close it till I sent get rid of this into that hole"

"Shield sent a nuclear bomb into a city..." Ceclia muttered darkly, her lips behind the veil tugged down into a snarl. "How... those Attercops! I'm surrounded by fools"

"That's a one-way trip stark" captain voiced over the comms as Cecilia came her way towards the forming group back on the bridge.

She watched though the shadows in starks suit as the man disappeared though the wormhole. Only to stumble, legs giving way as her subconscious was suddenly overpowered – it was like a tidal wave stuck her core as her shadows suddenly explained detouring the darkness of space.

"Cecilia!" the voice had been drowned out by the overload of information her shadows though the hole in space was giving her. She could feel the liquid dripping from her storm white eyes that were glowing under the veil, her veins felt like they were on fire – an ice-cold fire spreading though her veins as she was overloaded with by the void of space.

The group of avengers on the ground were thorn – Thor stood closest to the lady in the veil watch the shadows that had grown warily. He had seen soon magic before but this – this was on another level. It was different to the shapeshifting of Loki green – of the calm and gentle hum on his mothers. It was dark. Like the shadows were drinking the light around them – slowly killing the surrounding light.

Never in the realms he'd travelled too had he seen such magic.

But he never was the most observant of people.

Steve glanced at the fallen women before turning his attention back to the wormhole "come on stark" he muttered giving it another moment – the sooner that hole was close the better.

He signed, "close it"

"but..."

Cecilia felt the power – the ice fire course though her body – wanting to break free from its mortal constraints. As suddenly as it came the feeling vanished. Her mind fuzzy as it tried to shift though the overload of information the trip had given her.

Just as stark slipping back into this relm a few 300 feet into the air.

The man was lucky – hulk manged to catch him and bring him back with a roar. Said man began to joke about taking a breath and getting some shawarma.

She would have asked what shawarma was but her mind was completely elsewhere – thoughts flickering but to that void. She pulled herself to her feet. She could feel her body shaking as the aftershocks left her body. "Cecilia, you, okay?"

"Just a tad unsteady" she spoke turning her head towards Thor,

"But that..." he trailed off, "the magical spike wasn't something I had seen before"

"My shadows were attached to stark as they when though wormhole. It was a overload of the sense as my shadows grew in void. And I doubt you have seen much magic in your time - I know your kin."

"Honestly Downton that doesn't make sense, I though your powers were controlling shadows? It spaces they wouldn't be any shadows."

She couldn't help the smile that began to curl her blacken lips upwards, "whoever said my powers were controlling shadows"

"But, that's not fair you need to trust me! At least tell me"

"And spoil our little game?"

Stark let out a strangled groan, but falling backwards onto the soil ground. "Downton..."

"Were not finished yet..." Thor broke in turning his attention back towards starks tower.

-walkie walks-

Hulk gently place her back onto her feet the group standing before a groaning Loki. No one would let her walk to the location for some reason, she had argued but give up as soon as the giant man known as hulk picked her up gently placing her in the crook of his arm.

At that point she gave up auguring with them.

She rather not gets crushed by an angry hulk. Thought the giant green man seemed instructible– she didn't want to test it. She looked down at the chaos god – God of lies, mischief and surprising for the cold male, a god of fire...

She felt something slither though the darkness of her mind, as she stares at the man.

She stared directly into the bright emerald green eyes instead of blue – no longer where his irises shinning blue. She blinked blindly behind the darken veil unable to hide the surprise flickering across how face as she stares at the fallen god.

How... how in the sea of darkness that covered her eyes was she able to see the glittered eyes of Loki.

Able to see the golden specks in his glittering hues that stared intently at her a shadow of a smile gracing his features.

Thor cough glaring at his brother, Loki looked away towards the surrounding group, breaking the unknown connection between them. Once again, her worlds returned to darkness, colours draining away as the shadows danced in the edges of her vision.

"If it's all the same too you, I'll have that drink now"

Hulk shifted behind her – a snort animating from his lips. She would have let out a small smile at the comment, but her mind wandered with the implications of being able to see colour for the first-time in...

In EONS...
