These are things I've discovered through MY OWN EXPERIENCE. These are only suggestions, not professional advice. This is MY opinion and what I believe; if you disagree, please click off.
Quality over quantity
This is something you must accept. Even if it means losing a few visitors due to the delay in updating. A tip to aid with updates is to write at least two chapters ahead of time so that you can still update if things get hectic.
Write what you want to read
We are more concerned with what others desire, yet it is more about you. It's your choice, and if you don't like it, others may not as well. You must be enthusiastic about it and eager to write it. Put nothing too distressing or useless in there, but write what you want to read.
Rather than requesting books, preserve the ideas and create them yourself. Except for my diary, all of my stories are based on something I wished to see written.
Don't write about something you've just learned about. Do more research and learn more about it first.
This happens to me on a regular basis. If it's modern fiction, it has to be rational, and you're probably not an expert on the subject if you're just learning about it. Do you think you should write about a story like "The Asshole Judge" or something if you aren't a law student and have only recently learned what a lawyer is? No. Go deep into diversity and verify material three times in different sources (I'm talking about facts, not opinions).
Avoid cliches
Some cliches have vanished from writing in the last 100 years, perhaps only 20. When creating a cliche, make sure it's distinctive at the same time. If you run into them and their books fall down and their hands’ contact, you might think it's a romantic relationship, but the girl may learn more about him and the relationship becomes more erotic.
You can make cliches unique by bending them. The cliche may be about a rose, for example, but you'd expect it to be red, right? No. Look up the definitions of various rose colors and include them in your story. Give hints in an indirect manner. Some people may not be aware that yellow roses exist and may be surprised to learn that they aren't red.
The following are a few examples of cliches:
People who meet up with their one-night stands and form a sexual relationship
The bully develops feelings for the victim, or the victim develops feelings for the bully.
Because she roasts him, the bad boy falls for the bad girl.
Because they don't want you, you want them more.
Having a crush on your kidnapper
Kissing (accidentally) someone and discovering you like them
If your work of writing is about real health problems, please thoroughly research and verify what you are saying so as not to spread medical misinfo.
We may not know as much as we believe we do, so double-check what you're putting in your books.
Don't use paraphrasers
If you're not an English native/pro, don't use them unless it's for unapproved literature. You can use them to improve yourself and see your weaknesses, but be careful not to overuse them.

Grammarly is a good tool for identifying and correcting errors. You should pay attention to your mistakes and make a list of the most common ones. The free version is what I recommend.
