Love yourself and be patient

This is crucial: it takes YEARS to build a large audience and experience, so don't compare yourself to other authors and be humble?

Participate in awards.

Make your presence known by moving throughout the area. Winning will offer your book a lot of exposure. Even if you don't win, you may interact with the other contestants and wish them luck.

Post notices about updates. No replies don’t mean you got no reads

Followers will be notified of upcoming events via Updating. They might not respond since it isn't required. Make certain you select the box that permits them to get the notification.

Have a positive mindset

Be yourself

Don't develop a false identity since you'll have to come out and be yourself one day, and others may or may not lie to you, causing you to worry.

Follow people (especially underrated)

People may or may not respond, but they will acknowledge it. Following underappreciated individuals might develop to the friendship between you and them. Others will be delighted if you follow the underrated.

Read books and add them to PUBLIC reading lists.

Reading books is a win-win situation that benefits you while also recognizing those who read their books. Vote and add comments if you haven't already. By adding it to your reading list, you're indicating that you'll be interested in hearing from them and reading their work. It also offers others an indication of what you've been reading.

Ask people to be friends

This is something that comes from following them. It's possible that you'll meet your best buddy. They'll almost certainly say yes, and you'll have made a new buddy. They'll back you up.

Associate with people who speak the same language as you

Language boundaries are difficult to overcome, and you won't be able to communicate with them unless you speak their language.

Be careful when collaborating

Most of the time, you'll need to share information with others, such as email addresses and ideas. Make sure the person you're working with has a similar writing style to yours and that you can work together. You don't have to work with everyone.

If you feel like you can't write stories, make a diary

A journal, in my view, is the greatest and easiest sort of book to write since it is your life narrative and experience. You don't have to create characters, a tale, or anything else because it is your life story and experience. For this, all you need is memory.

Don't share ideas.

Sharing ideas is not a good idea, especially if it is done in front of others. Unless it's a collaborative effort, don't do this in public or in private. It's really easy for others to steal your ideas and turn them into their own. There are people that do this, but you must copyright your work legally. The best option is to have all rights reserved, and you can take legal action if someone violates it.

Follow back

If someone follows you, return the favor by thanking them, reading and voting on one of their books, and keeping up with them. Be grateful for what the Universe has given you and show it how much you appreciate it.

Don’t follow “follow back” accounts

These are often non-English speaking accounts with gt/Fb or follow back as their location. That's most likely them if they have over 800 followers but no books, no reading list, no answers to message boards, and no bio.

Some of them troll you by following you first, then following you back, and then unfollow you one by one. They're similar to Wattpad bots, and it's rumored that they can hack your account.

The best course of action is to mute or block them.

 Save ideas.

You might want them in the future ideas should be saved. You can utilize them if you need them in the future. Even if you don't like the original concept, you can get something out of it.
