Recap:
We quickly walked into history and took seats in the very back.
A couple minutes later the boy I had ran into earlier walked in. Our teacher, Mr. Henry greeted him and had him sit in the back... next to me.

"Hey, my name is Christine", I said, feeling more powerful than earlier.
"Max", he stated simply shaking my hand "sorry about running into you earlier", I added.
"Oh w-", he started before he was cut off by some "coughing".
"Oh... and this is my best friend Taylor", I added quickly. He laughed and shook her hand.
**** 5th period ****
I walked into the art room alone. Taylor had fashion design this period.
I saw Max, who was getting art supplies in the back right corner, by the blank white canvases. I walked over to gather my art supplies that I had ordered.
"Hey Max", I said picking up a brown camel hair paintbrush, paint, and pencils.
"What? I'm not-" he was cut when our art teacher, Mrs. Farse, walked in telling us to sketch whatever was on our mind. I walked away from Max and sat down at a long metal table. I thought for a little while and couldn't think of anything to draw. I looked up and saw Max. Hmmm.... I started to draw a midnight black wolf. I just had this gut feeling. When I was finished I colored it in, giving it blue eyes, with specks of green. I also gave it subtle silver streaks in its black fur. When I finished it looked real... like the wolves I knew... although I have never really known a pure black wolf with silver streaks.
I felt a connection with it, as weird as that might sound. If there was such a thing he would be like my polar opposite... or my other half.
