Cassie PoV
I did it. I fucking did it. I came clean to JJ about.. well everything: the sexual abuse from not only my father but random strangers, and the reason behind all my nightmares.
Let's just say he wasn't to happy about it... The first thing he asked was where they lived-
And about dad, I told JJ not to say jackshit but his stubborn ass had a go on him anyways.
It didn't end well and I still remember the rawness of his reaction:
It was a chilly Sunday evening and I was sat on the porch of chatue clasping a can of beer in my hands.
I heard heavy footsteps approach behind me. It was JJ. He sighed before sitting down next to me.
"Okay Cass, it's enough now. I want to know whats happening"
"What do you mean?" I asked innocently
"You know exactly what I mean. You've been acting off for ages now"
"I still don't know what your talking about" I lied
"Oh really?" He said in a disbelieving tone "The jumpiness? The nightmares? The zoning out?"
I stayed silent
"Ring any bells?" He continued
My heart rate picked up a little and I clenched the can a little harder
He put his hand over mine "please.. just tell me, I worry about you, I really do"
"Okay well um... There's some stuff that you don't know about dad" I begun
"Are you kidding me? I didn't think the asshole could get any worse. What did he do?"
"He uh.. he molests me and sometimes even rape. And-and basically uses for me for prostitution" I spoke barely above a whisper
"Wait what?"
I just nodded slowly
JJ didn't know how to react. At first he was shocked but then he threw his arms round me and hugged me tight.
"I'm sorry Cass, Im sorry" he mumbled over and over again "I'm gonna kill him, I swear to god I will"
"Shh its okay. Don't do anything, there's no point because in the end it just gets both of us hurt"
"No" he ripped away from me and anger took over
"FUCKING CUNT" he yelled, slamming his fists into the wall
"JJ" I exclaimed
"Yo what's going on here?" John B asked, swinging round the corner
"THAT FUCKING ASSHOLE IS GONNA FUCKING DIE" he continued pounding the wall
"Hey, hey, chill" JB grabbed his fists trying to calm him down "your gonna hurt yourself dude"
"What happened?" Kiara asked, looking at me and then back to JJ
"Nothi-" I began but JJ cut me off
"THE ASSHOLE RAPED MY SISTER" JJ howled "I had one job, one fucking job! And that was to protect you and I messed it up!"
