Chapter 2 - The Rumbling

Trevor was awakened by the warmth from the sun, as it's light phased through the window. He turned over and he was instantly comforted by what he saw. Jack was sleeping soundly next to him. He put his hand on Jack's soft face. An embarrassing shade of red flushed Jack's cheeks. He blinked and then an unwelcome face appeared.

"Jesus what are you doing in place of Jack."

"I'll never forget how you left my crying at the altar Trevor."

"Only Jack can call me that!" DARKNESS' anger shattered the realm he was in.

He regained his composure and then instantly lost it again.

"He's in my dreams now? I'll never be able to escape you will I?"

"WAKE UP!" He commanded.

"W-What's going on?!" Jack began to say before taking a look at his surroundings.

Trees toppled and fell, cracks were created in the earth, and the whole world shook incredibly violently. All while accompanied by a deafening rumbling.

"The pillars that held up this world have fallen! We must retreat to our only safe space! Quickly boy!"

"Y-Yes master!"

They both took off in a full sprint, however, Mo Da Zu Shin, destroyer of the South, immediately bursted ahead, leaving behind a shockwave. Jack did his best to keep full sprint but stumbled and fell face first on the ground.

"You weak bitch!" Mo Da Zu Shin, Singer of Serenades, quickly ran back and picked up Jack, throwing him over his shoulder.

He proceeded to return to his original speed at 235 MPH, making his way back to the Northern Heavenly Alliance.

The Alliance was in disarray when they arrived. People were screaming and running back and forth, structures fell and people were crushed. Shin ignored this and ran straight to the main building. He quickly pushed the doors open and saw Feng Mu-Won, Silencer of Wenches, finishing off several cultivators of the Southern Heavenly Sect.

"How's the boy?!" Feng Mu-Won shouted.

"He'll live!" Shin snapped back.

"This way then!" Feng ran deeper into the main building, the main throne being in sight. He stopped running when he approached the throne and instead made his way behind it, pressing a small button underneath the throne.

A stone tile fell away beneath them, sending them falling 1 mile deep.

"Have you any clue what caused this Feng?" Shin spoke to him while they were falling; the wind blowing up there adorned clothing and hair.

"Hmm.." Feng rubbed his chin, going into deep thought. A somewhat distressed expression drew on his face.

"Perhaps... Brother Xian Kwan Sho, Pounder of Jack." Feng spoke hesitantly.
