Chapter 29

Louis's POV

Liam and Ally joined us just as the show began, "hello and welcome to the Video Music Awards!!" Said the announcer. Everyone clapped and the show was a complete hit, finally they were announcing the award for "Best new pop video" and we all crossed our fingers. "And the V.M.A. For best pop video goes to.......... ONE DIRECTION!" Said Katy Perry, who was giving out the award. We all jumped up and down and hugged each other, El and the other girls were crying tears of joy and El mouthed to me "I am so proud of you." before we went to receive the award. We were all ecstatic as we said thank you to everyone, we received some more moon men and we even got to perform! We performed "One Thing" and it was the time of my life, I looked out at the crowd and I saw El cheering me on. I looked at the other lads and they were all having a blast, finally I looked at the jumbo screen and I saw myself....... I was happy. This is my life........ This is my life now....... I LOVE IT!! After we performed we went to the after party and Harry hung out at the bar most of the time, he already had like four drinks. I was currently talking to Niall, Rihanna, and Katy. El and Lauren came over to us and said that there is a small problem....... Cher was here........ Uh-oh. Niall and I excused ourselves and we went to look for Harry, who was probably on his seventh drink by now, to take him home before he ran into Cher. The others were keeping Cher busy, we never found Harry and we got worried about him. The whole party went on with no problems........ So far.

Niall's POV

Cher chatted for a little and soon left, we all went searching for Harry again but we couldn't find him. We told Paul and he said that he would look for him. We went back to the house and Harry wasn't there, where is that boy? We got changed and waited to hear from Paul or Harry but the phone didn't ring until 2am, Zayn picked up the phone. "Hello?............. Yes I'm Zayn Malik........... HE'S WHERE!!!!........... IM ON MY WAY......... THANK YOU.........goodnight...." And he hung up the phone, he jumped up and went to grab his coat "Harry is in police custody! He got arrested for getting into a fight at a bar and he attempted to drive drunk! No one was hurt but I need to go pick him up....." He said worrily. "I'm coming with you!" I said "Us too!" Replied Liam and Louis, the girls already went to bed so it was just us. "Great, lets go!" Said Zayn while grabbing his keys, we drove to the police station and went inside. "Hi, we are friends of Harry Styles. We are here to take him home, is he alright?" Asked Louis, "He's just fine, he's coming now." Replied the officer. Soon enough two officers came out with Harry but he was handcuffed, they unlocked him and we took him outside. Harry was beyond mad and grouchy but we didn't care. "Harry, do you know what could have happened?!?! YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF KILLED!!!" Shouted Liam. "I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF DEAD!!!" He spat back at him.

Zayn's POV

"HARRY! DON'T SAY THAT! YOU HAVE A GREAT LIFE AND WE AREN'T GOING TO LET YOU THROW THAT AWAY!!!!!!" Shouted Louis angrily. "EASY FOR YOU ALL TO SAY, YOU ALL FOUND LOVE. I THOUGHT I DID, SHE LEFT ME STANDING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!!! YOU DON'T CARE A BIT ABOUT ME" Harry wasn't listening to us and was obviously still drunk, I couldn't take this anymore. I went up to Harry and made him look at me "HARRY, LISTEN TO US! IF WE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT YOU WHY WOULD WE BE STANDING HERE AT TWO O CLOCK IN THE MORNING TO PICK YOU UP. YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHO CARE ABOUT YOU! ARE YOU GOING TO THROW ALL THAT AWAY BECAUSE OF A BAD RELATIONSHIP?!?!" I shouted at him. That's snapped him out of his drunken stage alright, "Y-your right......... I'm sorry guys. I didn't mean it, really." Niall cut him off "We know mate, we know. We understand why your upset, but you can't risk your life over it! Harry, you tried to drive! We understand but promise us that you will drink responsibly and that if there is a problem then talk to us about it." He said while grabbing Harry's shoulder, Harry replied "okay." We drove home and it was silent the whole time. I walked Harry to his room then went to sleep.

Harry's POV

Zayn walked me to my room and we passed Lauren's on the way there, she was sleeping like an angel..... Lauren really is a beautiful girl........ Wait WHAT?!?! Listen to yourself Styles! Lauren is with Niall and he loves her, she loves him undeniably too. Maybe she could love me like that, I mean I'm Harry styles, who doesn't love me. NO NO NO! STOP IT! I got to my room and went through my pictures on my phone, the girls got into my phone and set a picture of Ally, Perrie, Lauren, and Eleanor as my background yesterday. I zoomed in on Lauren and she had a beautiful smile on her face, her eyes were sparkling, and her hair flowed down her shoulders. I could definitely see us together..... Maybe she'll love me too and leave Niall. I wouldn't want to hurt Niall, but I feel like I need Lauren to be mine. I went to bed and had sweet dreams with Lauren in them. I woke up and saw that the others were asleep, i still felt wierd but i didnt care, I went downstairs and Liam, Ally, and Lauren were the only ones up. Perfect! "Hey guys! Lauren can you help me with something upstairs?" I asked her trying to hide my thoughts to make sure she doesn't read them, "Sure Harry!" And she followed me upstairs. "So what are we going to do?" She asked me once we got upstairs. "This.........." And I grabbed her face in my hands and then....... I kissed her........
