Chapter 17: Kurt

When I shared the news of Blaine being back with me, everyone was ecstatic. They actually admitted that they were surprised that I'd talk so openly about the break up.

"It still hurts inside. And we just got back together. We are nowhere near healed yet. But we're getting there. Together."

"Ya know, you and Blaine were the couple we voted for," Quinn said, a fondness in her voice.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, the Glee club took a little vote senior year. I think you and Blaine were at Dalton visiting, that might be why you don't know about it. We took a vote on which couple was most likely to survive longest. All of us, except Sugar, voted on you and Blaine. Klaine."

"Klaine?"

"Yeah, your couple name. We all have them. Brittany and Santana are Brittana, Finn and Rachel are Finchel, though you knew that, Tina and Mike are Tike, Mercedes and Same are Samcedes, and Puck and I are Puinn."

"Puinn? Okay, well that's surprising. Klaine. I like it. It has a nice ring to it. But what about Artie?"

"He had one with Sugar, but things got complicated. I think he's with a girl named Jessica now. But we haven't met her, so she is unworthy of a Glee made ship name." she said with a smile.

"She's nice! You guys will like her!" Artie pipped up and everyone laughed.

"Klaine....."

We all crowded around the T.V. later that day to watch Blaine.

God, he was amazing.

"Wow, he looks so happy." Tina commented, wrapped in Mike's arms on the couch.

"Yeah, it's like he's dipped in rainbow happiness," Brittany commented, and a smile came over my face.

"I can't believe he didn't tell me!" Rachel said with a sigh.

"Kurt didn't even tell us. He showed us!" Finn said,

"Showed you?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah, he actually scared the hell out of me!" my dad said with a laugh.

"I didn't even know he was coming home until he walked into the kitchen!" Carole said with a fond smile at the memory.

They all still looked confused, so I passed around my phone with the pictures while my dad. Finn, and Carole told the story.

There were various squeals and 'Ohmy god!'s as well as some happy sighs and giggles.

We went back to watching Blaine. He was thanking the crowd and was starting the interview. She asked the usual question. Ya know the 'how does this all make you feel' sota thing. But the next one really caught all of our attention.

"Rumour has it there is a certain special someone in your life right now. That true?"

Everyone was silent.

"Actually, yes. I'm back with the person who inspired me from the very beginning. My best friend and my first love." Blaine said, smiling.

There was a chorus of 'awwwww!'s and I felt my face going red.
