He hated her, despised her. He hated how happy she acted, when in reality it was all fake. He hated her fake smile, her little act. He hated the her act, but couldn't stop himself from loving the true Kaede Akamatsu. He knew that she was dying inside, and he wanted to be the one to make her happy again! Why couldn't she realise that? He was nothing more than a background character to her. There she was running through the cold rain, bruises and blood on her pretty face. Tears fall from her face, like the rain falling from the sky. Not looking up she bumps into a certain blue haired boy, Shuichi Saihara. ''Kaede?'' He asks. She looks up at him revealing her pretty face full of blood and bruises. ''what happened?'' he asks with a worried tone. ''I dont wanna talk about it... I dont wanna go home... can i go to your house please?'' she says as she hides her face again. ''oh sure..'' Shuichi grabs her hand as the two walks towards his house. As they both walk towards his house Kaede finally says something. ''Hey Shuichi...? I always get the feeling you hate me. Do you actually?'' She asks quietly. He looks at her and stops walking. He sighs, and begins talking. ''Yes. I have an undying hatred towards you'' He says. She begins to tear up ''why..?'' she asks. He walks towards her and hugs her. ''I don't hate ''you'' but i hate the fake you, the happy act you, the fake smile you'' Her eyes widens at this. ''Make this act real for me, will ya?''
