Chapter 7
Romeo's POV

When I woke up that morning, Julian was still asleep. I watched him for a few minutes at his adorable sleeping face. I sighed and quietly left him there to sleep in. I had many things to do this morning. I had to jog, how else would I stay in condition for rugby. Then I have to make breakfast for Julian and I. I got dressed and kissed Julian's forehead as I left the master suite. I walked through the house to the front door.

When I got outside, I jogged to the beach. The beach was beautiful, the sun rising across the ocean. I could hear the seagulls as they flew high in the sky. Everything took my breath away as I watched the world wake up before my very eyes. The sun reminded me of Julian. Just like sun, Julian was my ray of sunshine that made me smile and not stress over all the priorities I have. When I contacted Julian a week ago, I was very stressed over an event Montague High School was hosting. It was some fundraising ball for our school athletics. Also I had two practices a day: baseball and rugby. Being away from all of that work made me feel free like the seagulls. I wanted to feel like this forever, with Julian. I ran down the sandy beach for a long time and turned around heading for home, thinking about Julian the entire time. I knew he was the one for me. Rosaline was nothing like Julian. She was a crush, but Julian was my everything.

When I got back, I went to the kitchen and decided to make pancake and waffles because I had no idea which one Julian preferred. I also made bacon and sausage, with scrambled eggs with hash browns. I poured four types of juices in four juice glass and put them in the fridge to stay cold until Julian woke up. When I finished preparing the food, I stood back and looked at my work. The food smelled amazing. It only need a few touches. I went to the fridge and took out maple syrup that my mom had my father import from Canada.

"What smells so good?" I heard Julian asked as he walked into the room stretching. "Morning sunshine," I said as I kissed him and handed him a large plate full of pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash browns. "In the fridge there is juice in glasses that you can choose from. I left him there staring at his plate. "Wow, this is a lot of food," he said in disbelief, "I don't think I can finish all of this." "Eat as much as you can," I said as I filled my plate, "But you don't need to finish it all." He walked over to the fridge and opened the door surprised. "There are four types of juices in here!," he said in disbelief. "Yeah," I said walking over to him, "I didn't know what kind of juice you preferred." "That's so sweet of you," he said kissing my cheek and picking one of the juices. We sat at the table and at the huge meal I had preparred.

After we ate, we decided to go for a walk on the beach. We walked silently next to each other in silence, our hands entwinded together. The waves crashed onto the beach and seagulls could be heard over our heads. The scent of seaweed lingered in the air from the seaweed being dragged in by the waves. As we walked, a random idea popped into my head. I quickly turned to Julian, placing my hands on his shoulders. Julian was surprised at what was happening, and so was I when I said to him, "Julian, will you marry me?!"

It took me a few seconds to realiaze what I had said, and when it hit me I turned around quickly away from Julian. I felt my face burn like crazy from embarrasement. Why did I say that? Why?! I do not know Julian that well. What am I thinking?! "Yes," he said behind me, "Hell yes!" He hugged me from behind saying, "I will say yes a thousand times. I love you Romeo Montague." "I love you too Julian Capulet," I said as I swept him off his feet and kissed him.
