Chapter 9
Romeo's POV

Julian. My Julian. The one I shalt call my own. My soul mate. The one that was made for me and forever will be. That's my true love. Julian.

~

After we fled from Julian's house, we went north into Canada. As I drove, Julian fell asleep and I couldn't help but watch him. From time to time I would start to drift into another lane, but thankfully I recovered quickly. For the rest of the drive I was thankful for not getting pulled over. What could I tell the cops? Sorry officer, I didn't mean to drift. I couldn't help but look at my boyfriend's face because it was so adorable.

When we stopped for the night, we stayed at a motel. After I got our room key and put the luggage inside, I carried him bridal style to our temporary room. I laid him on the bed and placed the covers over him. I sighed as I walked to the bathroom to get ready for bed. Tomorrow will be a long day. A joyous one. A day which will not be forgotten. My wedding day.

~

I stood there, slow drops of sweat pored close to my brow. I had never felt like this before. I could hear the faint tune of an organ, but I couldn't decipher the beautiful song being played by the organ's ancient voice. Was that Bach? My attention turned to the boy in white walking down the aisle. He wore a white tuxedo with a red rose boutonnière. He was a handsome boy, a boy that would be my husband. His eyes shinned with happiness. He glowed with an aura I had never seen before. I can't believe this. I am marrying an angel.

When he arrived at the alter, I couldn't contain myself. I wanted to kiss him and get the entire thing done with. We stared at each other for a long time and were interrupted by my godfather, Friar Laurence.

Friar Laurence grew up with my father. They were great friends. He use to come over more when I was younger, but he doesn't anymore since he is getting older.

He stood there and smiled at us.

"Shall the ceremony begin?"

~

"Now, would you like the short version or the long version?" Friar Laurence asked.

Julian gave me a look of confusion. What was the old man thinking?

"Wheel of Fortune is in an hour," Friar Laurence added.

"The short version," Julian and I said in unison.

"Okay then. The short version it is. Do you, Julian Capulet, take Romeo Montague as your beloved husband?"

"I do."

"Great. Now do you Romeo Montague, take Julian Capulet as your beloved husband?"

"I do!" I said happily.

"Good. Your married."

Julian and I stared at each other for a few seconds. Letting the idea of being married sync in.

"Hello? Earth to Romeo! I have Wheel of Fortune to watch. Kiss your spouse you dim-wit."

I was never the person who believed that when you kissed someone it was amazing, and the rumors were wrong. It was extraordinary! I had never shared a kiss with someone like this. Julian wasn't a average person to me, he was my everything.
