"Captain, the weather is too severe out there! I don't think we should--"

"Be quiet!" The captain screamed at his crew mate. He had been waiting for a chance to find the crashed commercial airplane in the Pacific Ocean for so long. The constant complains and objections from his crew were starting to drive him mad. Especially since he found a clue that could lead him directly to the wreckage. He could not pass this opportunity up. Not for the world.

One of the crewmen mumured under his breath, "Those are some of the darkest clouds I've ever seen..." Another was standing at the stern, praying incoherently, fearing for what could happen to them as their hysterical captain could be driving all of them directly to their deaths.

Suddenly, the ship quickly jolted to the left, knocking all the crew members to the starboard. The captain swiftly got back on his feet and frantically attempted to steer the ship back on course, but to no avail. The ship began to turn over sideways. As the captain put all his strength into the wheel, he caught a glimpse of a solid mass in the thick fog.

"Land!" He shouted in the bridge as he turned back the other way to the shore. The ship turned back upright and moved forward. As the ship approached the land, one of the crew members noticed something odd about the island. There was ice surrounding the perimeter of the land, then he noticed snow on the sand.

That's impossible... He thought to himself. He was so perplexed that he barely noticed the rest of the chaos around him. They were in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, it should be hot. Right before he could say anything out loud, the ship's bow flew up into the air as the stern dunked under the water. He suddenly came to as the screams of his crew mates slowly got quieter as they flung into the ocean one by one.

He quickly leaned over to a wall next to him and pressed himself to it in an attempt to stay stable. When he looked down he noticed he was standing on the bridge's window. The bow of the ship was pointing into the sky.

He turned over and noticed the captain attempting to grab on to the front of the bridge. The crewman attempted to go after him, but the individual rain drops pouring down feeling like little needles poking him accompanied by the disorientation of the ship flipping was too much for him to handle. He collapsed and slid down, getting caught by the overhang above the bridge window. The captain climbed up and grabbed him just before the ship was submerged.
