I couple of days had gone by and the Halloween event was getting dangerously close. If i was going to ask her to be my date i better do it soon, but i didn't want to do it out of nowhere. "Hmmm what should i do? Venti is quite good with these type things, ill ask him."

I mean, you could ask to take her shopping and then ask? Like something along the lines of "Hey Yanfei, do you maybe want to be my date for the Halloween event?"

"So everybody knows huh? I guess i did make it pretty obvious. i wonder..dose she like me too?" Suddenly i feel someone poke me. "TaoTao do youre work!" I snap back to reality realizing i was in class. "Oh, right sorry sorry." I whisper back. I look down and finish my work and so did yanfei.

We where just sitting there. I know where in class and all, but it was boring..too boring. I ripped out a piece of paper from my note book.
"Hey the Halloween even is soon wanna go to the mall after school?" I passed the paper to yanfei. I was surprised when she actually picked up her pen and started writing on the other side. "Yeah sure, btw you got a date yet?"
"Nope not YET u?"
"You* I dont ether"
"Don't* ;)"
She crumbled the paper after that and I couldn't help myself but chuckle.

—-time skip after school—-
"Ahh!! I haven't been shopping in so long!!" Yanfei said stretching out her arms. "I haven't been shopping since I moved."
"Oh by the way, why'd you move?" I looked at the ground not wanting to make yanfei upset. "I have to take over my family's business soon, so I'm waiting on that mean while I get some sort of education."
"Oh..so you won't be here for long?" Yanfei seemed a bit upset. "Well I don't really know..but what I do know for certain is that we will have a great time whilst I'm here!" I tried to cheer up and put on my usual smile.

"There's a mall map over there! We should take a picture so we know where we're going!" Yanfei said grabbing my hand and pointing to the large map on the wall. I noticed a jewellery shop. "Hmm something from there would make a great gift, I do have some spear mora to spend." I thought to myself. We figured out a route which we'll follow and took a picture of the map.

—some time later—
The jewellery shop is close by, I quickly needed to make an excuse. "Hey I need to go to the bathroom real quick, don't go too far!"
"Yeah don't worry I'll go in this store so when you come back you can look for me there!" I smiled and ran off. "Now where was it, where was it..oh here we are!" I walked inside the store and was quickly greeted by the women at the register. "Hi and Welcome! What can I do for you today?"
"Umm I need a gift for my...ughhh friend. Just something simple but elegant!" The sales person gave me a smile as if she knew it wasn't just for a friend.
"Hmmm let's see..oh! I have this. Is this something you might like?" She pulls out a ring with 3 rubies on it, the base covered in gold. "It is quite pricey so I can bring you a budget option?"
"N-no! It's perfect! How much for it?"
"800,000 mora."
"That is quite a high price..but I do not care. Anything and everything for my Yanfei."
"I'll take it." I said pulling out my Wallet.
"Sweet!" The cashier puts it in a ring box and passed it over as I give her the money.
"Thank you!" I take the box and put it in my pocket.
"Agh..young love." I hear the cashier whisper as I walk out.

"Young love indeed."
