An easy set up

Third person POV:
They barely make it before the school gates are closed.
Venti: Hey you guys up for another hang out next week? We can go to an arcade?
Xingqiu: yeah sure
Chongyun: If Xingqiu is coming so am I
Xiao: I do not usually engage in such activities but I'll join
Hu Tao: I'm down
Yanfei: sure I'll come
They said their goodbyes and headed to their dorms.

"Thanks for the jacket TaoTao!" She said taking it off along with her shoes. "It's no problem, really. I had my hat anyways." Nothing interesting really happened after that, in fact, nothing really interesting happened until the day we hanged out.

Venti POV:
A few days before the hangout-
"Ughhhh!!! I want them to date already! Hu Tao and Yanfei would look so cute togetherrr!!" Said venti laying on Xiaos lap. "Well then set them up on a date." Venti thought for a bit and said, "you know what, I'll do just that! We're not going to the arcade anymore! We'll cancel at the last minute and they'll go on a date!" Xiao smiles at venti. "I wasn't planning on going anyways, I wanted to spend some time with you."

Ey! I want to set up Hu Tao and yanfei on a date, can you maybe cancel the arcade hang out at the last minute?

So you had that feeling too? That they liked each other? Yeah ofc I do actually want to see how things turn out.

I put my phone down and look at xiao who was asleep already. "Awww so cute." I mumbled to myself and fell asleep.

Yanfei POV:

"Goddddd! Where are they!?" I said sitting down on the bus stops bench. I picked up my phone and went to the group chat.

Hu Taos lawyer wife- where tf are you guys? we have been waiting for yall for 40 minutes!!

Venti with 3 caramel shots- Oh sorry something came up and xiao is helping me..Sorry we cant make it

Book worm- Me and chongyun are babysitting )): it was urgent im sorry.

"Ughh!! Well nothing we can do now." I groaned. Hu Tao suddenly stood up and put out her hand. "We can go to the arcade by ourselves right?" I smiled and took her hand. "Of corse we can!" Light pink blush covering my face.

Going to the arcade with Hu Tao was surprisingly better then i imagined. We had lots of fun! Hu Tao won most of the mini games, and got enough tickets to buy me a snorlax plushie i really wanted! Then we went to sit at a cafe, just chatting away. She can be so sweet sometimes. I love those gorgeous eyes, and how they burn with passion. Her smile makes me feel warm..Am i..in love?

"YanYan? You alright? you've been staring at me for a while. is everything ok?" I snap back to reality. "Yeah yeah! Sorry I was just thinking about something! We should head back to our dorm." I pay for the drinks and head outside.

"I had fun today!" Hu Tao said skipping beside me. "Jup same here!" She gave me a smile. "I don't want to seem weird but..can we hold hands?" I said light pink blush covering my face. Hu Tao looked at me and smiled. "Yeah ofc! That's normal for friends." Hu Tao took my hand our fingers interlocking. "Yeah..friends.."

Hu Tao pov:

"Why did i say that?! I like her but i friend zoned her just now. I need to redeem myself..but how? Maybe ill ask her to be my date for the Halloween event?"

"Ughh..Oh!  What do you want for dinner?" I asked to break the awkward silence and brighten up the mood. "Hmmm, Im too lazy too cook anything today. You down for some instant noodles?" I nod with a smile on my face and we continued walking until we reached the shop, grabbing some instant noodles.

"Aghhh! Im so tiredddd." I said plopping onto the couch without taking my shoes off. "Ey! Careful with the shoes!" She yelled taking off hers and her coat. "God. Here ill take them off for you, since you cant!" She undid the laces and took my shoe off. "You don't have a foot fetish do you?" I said laughing. "No! Ofc i don't!!" I sat up as she took off my other shoe. She came over to me and pinched my cheeks. "Ow! What was that for?!" As she let go i reached up to massage my cheeks. "Because your laughing at me! Plus, you looked adorable so i don't regret doing that." She said walking into the kitchen.

Yanfei pov:

I made the instant noodles bringing them back to the living room. We chatted for a bit till we finished eating. "Ill do the dishes real quick." I said taking the two bowls and going into the kitchen. By the time i was finished Hu Tao was asleep on the couch. "Well i cant leave her like this here" i picked Hu Tao up, and to my surprise she was pretty light. I took her upstairs and laid her on the bed, tucking her in. "She looks so peaceful sleeping..maybe i could just.." I kiss her on the forehead softly in hopes that it wont wake her up. I get off the bed and walk to the door. I take a look back making sure she isn't awake. "My pretty little girl." I whisper to myself. I turn off the light and close the door behind me. I walked downstairs and laid on the couch. "Im in love..aren't i?" I thought to myself before closing my eyes and falling asleep.

OH GOD IM TRYING SO HARD TO KEEP THIS WHOLESOME BUT I DONT KNOW HOW LONG BEFORE I CRACK-
