*Bucky's point of view

This morning I felt August hand still intertwined with my own. I swear she has skin so soft like silk sheets. Her nails were faded and chipped but still a light pink. I know I should have removed my hand from her hold but I just could not pull myself to actually do it so I went back to bed for a bit longer.

When I woke up again she wasn't in bed anymore, She was sitting on the floor doing her makeup. After I used the restroom I watched her finish her makeup, she pulled out a shiny red lip gloss that she was going to put on. I don't really know what made me want to put it on for her. Maybe it was because she had the smoothest and fullest lips or because I just wanted to look at her a little bit longer.

One thing I have really noticed about Augustine is that her beauty goes way beyond her looks. She has an internal beauty that just radiates off of her. I see it when she talks to Phoebe and I hear it with every laugh that falls from her mouth. When you have gone through the things I have, you would understand how hard it is to find that in someone. Besides Sam, she is one of the only people I feel comfortable with since Steve left.

August went to get dressed and so did I. Yori and I were going to get breakfast together so I followed her down to the elevator. That is when I noticed she was wearing my black leather jacket. God, I wanted to just stop the elevator to push her against the wall and kiss her. I know it will never happen because I wouldn't let it but the way my jacket hung on her made her look absolutely irresistible. The logical side of my brain kicked in when the doors opened.

Breakfast with Yori was nice, I just let him talk about whatever he wanted to because I am not going to lie, I couldn't stop thinking about how August looked this morning. That's when I knew my feelings were getting too real. After breakfast I went on a walk in the park to try and clear my head. I walked the park twice then when my phone rang. It was an unknown number.

"Hey James, are you busy? Can you take me to go see August? My mom said it's okay." Phoebe? How did she even get my number?

"Yeah, sure. Wait! How did you get my number?"

"I got it from my sisters phone, duh."

"That's fair. I'll be at the apartment in fifteen." I hung up then took my motorcycle back.

When I got back to the apartment Jenna asked if I could take Phoebe to Augustine's office while they went visit Phil's old friend from college. I told her it wasn't a problem so Phoebe grabbed a tote bag very similar to the one her sister owns then we left. She noticed my motorcycle when we got outside to the parking garage.

"Ha! Yeah, we aren't taking that." I said watching her excitement drop.

"Why not? I am old enough." She huffed as we walked down the street.

"Your sister would personally murder me so no thanks."

"She wouldn't do that."

We walked to 2nd ave. to get lunch for all three of us. When we left the deli it got slightly colder out, due to the fact that is was still February in New York City. Phoebe had on a worn-out green sweatshirt with a white skirt. While we waited at the cross walk I noticed how much she resembles August.

"I don't understand why you didn't wear a jacket? It's freezing outside!" Phoebe said when we entered the building. We could spot August sitting on the white bench in the lobby shooting rubber bands.

"Oh! Now I get why you didn't have a jacket." She said wiggling her eyebrows at me and elbowed my side. I just rolled my eyes at her.

Phoebe went to talk to Augustine's coworker, Charles. I followed August into her office with the food we picked up. When we sat on her little couch I saw that she looked like she was having a rough day. Her hair was disheveled, probably from running her hands through it. She wore four gold rings, two on each hand. They complement her slender fingers.
