Chapter 12

SOFIA RAMOS' POV

Vincenzo and I walk into the meeting room, which looked a lot different to our meeting rooms back home. There was a long table and it only had one empty seat at the head of the table. All eyes were on us, which made me slightly uncomfortable.

Vincenzo pulled me closer to him as he lead us to the empty seat and pulled me down to sit on his lap.

"This is my girlfriend, Sofia Ramos," Vincenzo says, "You will respect her as you respect me."

They all replied with, "Yes, capo," while holding their heads down.

Vincenzo carries on with the meeting for about an hour before finally dismissing them.

"What are you doing here, Gabrielle?" Vincenzo asks his sister once everyone left.

It was just Vincenzo, Gabrielle, Lorenzo and I left in the room.

"Can't I come see my brother at work?" She asks nervously.

"No," Vincenzo says sternly.

"Wouldn't it be cool, since you're dating my bestfriend, I should date yours?" Gabrielle asks.

I burst out laughing and Lorenzo shakes his head at his girlfriend's attempt to tell Vincenzo that they were actually dating.

"What, fuck no!" Vincenzo disagreed with at his sister's remark.

"Well we are." Gabrielle says, holding her head down.

"What?" Vincenzo shouts standing up.

Since I was sitting on his lap, I had to quickly move out of the way so I wouldn't fall.

"Relax, man." Lorenzo says with a slight smirk.

"You're fucking my little sister." Vincenzo shout again.

I didn't think Vincenzo would act like this, I guess I thought he would be happy for his bestfriend and sister.

"Not yet." Lorenzo say chuckling.

I could tell Lorenzo was enjoying this, while Gabrielle was trying to hide her blush.

"Vincenzo you are acting like a child." I scold him.

"You knew about this?" Vincenzo asks me.

"Yes and I don't see why you can't support them." I tell him.

"She's only nineteen." He says.

"She's an adult that can make her own choices." I argued.

Vincenzo decides to be even more childish and storms out of the meeting room.

"Give him some time." Lorenzo tells Gabrielle.

I left the room to follow Vincenzo to his office. As I predicted, Vincenzo was sitting in his office.

"Vincenzo." I sighed.

"Why can't you accept them?" I ask, trying to understand his point of view.

"Gabrielle is only nineteen, she shouldn't be dating." Vincenzo replies.

"Don't you trust that Lorenzo will treat her the way she deserves?" I ask.

"I know Lorenzo will treat her right." Vincenzo says.

I really didn't understand where Vincenzo was coming from. I suppose he didn't like the idea of his sister dating.

"Do you think you will be able to accept them?" I ask him.

"I could try." He mumbles.

A smile spreads across my face at his words and I walk over to him, kissing his cheek.

"Great, let's go tell them." I say excitedly.

After Vincenzo told Gabrielle and Lorenzo that he would learn support their relationship, we left the club and went to his apartment. We ate the stuff we baked after our date and had a Marvel movie marathon.

GABRIELLE MORETTI'S POV

I was very surprised when Sofia and Vincenzo came back into the meeting room and Vince told us that he accepted us and he was happy we found each other. It looked like Sofia forced him to say that but I accepted his words regardless.

Lorenzo and I are now at his apartment and I decided that I would cook dinner for him while he was working in his office.

SOFIA RAMOS' POV

It's the next day and I was still staying with Vincenzo. My period decided to surprise me at 2am and it's now 4pm. I couldn't bring myself to get out of bed throughout the day because of how much pain I was in.

I was craving pizza, ice cream and donuts, so Vincenzo left about ten minutes ago to get them. He tried to get me to take a few pain killers before he left but after I explained to him that all they do is make my period flow heavier, he opted to cuddling me with his hand on my stomach to ease the pain. He was like my personal heater.

An hour later, Vincenzo was now back with my food.

"How are you feeling, tesoro?" Vincenzo asks, leaning down to kiss my forehead.

"Better." I say.

"It's time to get up and eat." Vincenzo says, rubbing my stomach.

We are now watching Spider-Man Far From Home as I eat the pint of ice cream Vincenzo brought me earlier.

"Why'd they break up so fast?" Vincenzo asks referring to Ned and Betty.

"Shh." I shushed him, putting my finger on his mouth.

"Did you just shush me?" Vincenzo asks me.

"Yes, now be quiet." I reply.

All of a sudden, Vincenzo starts to tickle my stomach and I let out squeal.

"Vincenzo s-stop." I say, as I erupt into a fit of giggles.

After a few seconds he finally stopped and I'm able to calm myself down.

"You're so cute." Vincenzo says, kissing my nose.

I scrunch my nose a little and got up to go to the bathroom, I had to change my pad now because Vincenzo thought it would be funny to tickle me.

This chapter was very short and cringe.
Might rewrite when I finish the book.

Chapters 13-16 are already completed. I just have to type them out.
