Kurt sat in his seat, attempting not to smile as he watched the city go by at lightning speed. The car was moving at an umpromising speed as Kurt continued to hold himself from cheering on. THe forces of gravity was pulling him back on the seat.
Blaine smiled, casting a quick glance at Kurt before looking back on the road. Fotunately there weren't many people on the streets, because he generally drives slower when he wasn't not mission, but looking at Kurt's smiling face, he continued his drive.
"Yyou've gggggot tttto beeee kiddddinnngggg meeee!" Kurt yelled in a rush of excitement. "Tttthhis is aaaawwweeeesssome!"
Blaine laughed and joined Kurt in cheering.
"WOOHOOO!" They both yelled simintanously before laughing.
They looked at eachother before Blaine and Kurt looked away and blushed.
"Um... so enjoying the ride?" Blaine asked, smirking.
Kurt blushed even more.
"What were you like the first time you went on these cars ?" Kurt shot back jokingly.
Blaine blushed as he relived the memory of grasping to his seat and screaming in fear as Wes drove and tried to calm him. He looked away, and Kurt smirked.
Thankfully, (To Blaine) he was saved from having to reply, because he slowed the car to a stop infront of Hummel's residence.
It was a simple but elegant house, well complemented too. Blaine looked in awe.
"You live here?" Blaine asked. Kurt looked anxious.
"It's not much, but it's home." Kurt said, quoting Ron in Harry Potter.
Blaine, unintentionally, quoted Harry's line. " I think it's magnificient."
Kurt smiled in relief and led Blaine in.
The inside was even prettier with light brown walls and wooden floors. The kitchen had a marble counter.
Kurt led him to a seat.
"Make your self home." Kurt said, taking a bottle of water out of the fridge. " Here." He said, passing the bottle to Blaine.
Blaine accepted it with thanks.
They smiled at each other before Kurt turned towards his room. It caught Blaine by surprise, it wasn't big, but it was so much better than Blaine imagined. The walls were well decorated with framed paintings. It was really beautiful and had a sense of home that Blaine never had.
He watched with fascination when Kurt opened his closet. It was obvious to him that they were all designer. The first thing he saw was a Marc Jacobs coat, an Acne shirt, a pair of Michael Kors pants, and Armani shoes.
"What do you do as a living? " Blaine asked, estimating the price of all these clothes.
"I act here, in theatre. " Kurt said. "Otherwise I am studying in med school to be radiologist and have a job at the lab."
Blaine turned to him with surprise.
"Are you serious?" Blaine asked, surprised. He opened his bottle and took a drink, looking at Kurt who was starting to pack his clothes.
"Yeah. I used to work for vogue in New York, but then my dad got cancer and I had to come back...." Kurt trailed off, his voice sad. He looked away before replacing the frown with a smile. "Well, that was before. I have a whole future in front of me."
Blaine wanted to ask what happened, but he knew it wasn't the moment. He was surprised at Kurt's ability to be optimistic and happy when he was so sad. Blaine gulped and placed a hand at Kurt's shoulder, who stiffened before relaxing. "Are you okay?"
"Ofcourse I am." Kurt said, with a smile on his face. Blaine tried to read his eyes but he couldn't see anything. He would be a good agent in this case. Blaine did the only thing he could think of and smiled back, a little sad that Kurt had to pretend to be happy in front of him.
A couple of hours passed as Blaine and Kurt began to talk about life outside of the agency. Blaine was glad that they avoided his-their- work, because sometimes he just wanted to get away from it all.
"Alright! I am packed!" Kurt said. He clicked the lock to the fourth extra large suitcase in the room.
"You have a lot of stuff." Blaine said.
"This? It's only my clothes and creams. Don't forget about the bags downstairs." Kurt said.
"Uh...Kurt.... You know you do come back to your own residence right?" Blaine asked.
Kurt waved it off. " I know."
By the time they left the house and packed their stuff, it was already near ten o'clock. Rather than screaming on the ride back in the agency car, Kurt fell asleep. Blaine thought Kurt was absolutely cute when he fell asleep, kinda like a cat. Blaine had to force himself to look away from Kurt if he wanted to get back to Dalton-without crashing.
The silent drive back to Dalton was a breather for Blaine. True, he'd rather talk with Kurt, but having time to think wasn't so bad either.
In thruth, Blaine was scared. He was terrified for Kurt, because an innocent boy like him shouldn't have to go missions as dangerous as this. This is ridicoulous, because he only knew kurt for a day, and he normally doesn't get attached so fast. This would have been a rule, except everyone in Dalton soon become friends without anyone noticing.
Kurt is a completely different story. If someone dead in Dalton, we would have to be civil about it. We don't a day off work and are advised not to cry, because it happens from time to time. But if Kurt were ever one of those people, Blaine didn't how he would handle it. He was just so-
Precious? Amazing? Beautiful?
Blaine shook his head. Where did that come from?
He pulled up at the Dalton parking lot and got out. Noticing that Kurt was still sleeping, he nudged him on the shoulder.
"Kurt. We're here." Blaine said. Kurt opened one eye then the other.
"K'" He mumbled, dragging himself out the car before stretching.
Blaine laughed a little and Kurt glared at Blaine, causing him to stop laughing.
"Okay, well, I am going to bed. " Kurt said. Kurt moved in front but Blaine caught his wrist lightly. Blaine blushed. "Yes?" Kurt asked, raising his eyebrow.
"You're dinner." Blaine replied.
"I am not hungry right now, I just wanna sleep!" Kurt said.
"Okay." Blaine said. Letting Kurt go.
