Kurt unbuckled the seat belt and released the final click of a locking suitcase before standing up and preparing to leave the prestigious jet for the streets of London. During his flight, he was able to come up with a vague plan and a good starting point, so that everything was more organized when he really starts to look for this Hunter guy.
Beside him on the passenger seat, the waiter offered a final drink to Kurt, which was turned down. Kurt thanked the waiter and later the pilot as the exit door opened and the stairs escalated downwards. The wind was not as kind this morning and Kurt began to ponder why he didn't wear a coat. However, these thoughts were soon replaced with awe when he looked up and saw the big ben and the marvelous streets of London. He had long ago forgotten about his dream to visit this place, that is, when he had to money and time.
But now that he is here, he reflected on the fact that he merely wanted to come here for a vacation, not to catch some mad terrorist.
'Sir, I think it's best you be off. We've set a hotel for you, and the car is ready.' a man in a similiar attire to him said. There was another man beside him, and Kurt didn't even notice them coming.
'And you are?' Kurt asked, suspicious. Though he realised that he didn't book a hotel, he never thought that it was already booked for him. The two men looked at each other through their sunglasses with raised eyebrows, and turned to Kurt simutaniously, pulling out a badge.
'We work with Dalton. ' the other man said, 'You're new then, I suppose?' Kurt narrowed his eyes.
'Yes.' Kurt replied, firm.
'Alright. What level are you on?' The blond one asked. Kurt was geniunely surprised they had to ask.
'You mean, you don't know?' Kurt questioned.
'No, we know nothing about your mission either. Apparently, it's classified. ' He replied, putting airquotes on the word classified.
'Am I allowed to tell you?' asked Kurt cautiously. ' I don't even know your names.' The blond man stuck his hand out to Kurt for a handshake.
'Chandler, Chandler Keihl.' he said, shaking Kurt's hand with a wide smile. Chandler looked at the other boy, anticipating an introduction, but when the man stayed silent, Chandler elbowed him on the side.
'Ow! Okay okay! I am Jesse, Jesse st.James. ' the other man said, waving at Kurt with mock enthusaisim.
'Hi, it's nice to meet you two, I am Kurt, Kurt Hummel.' Kurt said, smiling.
'Well, now that we exchanged names, what level are you on?' Chandler asked, curious.
'I am a medium.' Kurt said, modestly.
'Are you? Are you really now?' Jesse suddenly asked, interest sparking in his eyes, ' Aren't you, say, ' he waved his hand in a dramatic gesture. ' New?'
'Yes, and yes.' Kurt replied, still smiling at them.
'That's surprising.' Jesse said, taking off his sunglasses.
Kurt narrowed his eyes again when he looked at Jesse properly. He reminded him of someone, he wasn't quite sure who though. Did he know the guy from high school?
'You remind me of someone.' Kurt said, putting his hand on his chin in thought. Jesse's smile faltered for a second before returning again, but Kurt caught it. St. James quickly put his sunglasses back on.
'Must be a trick of the mind.' he mumbled. Even through his sunglasses, Kurt could tell the Jesse wasn't looking at him. He quickly dismissed it for bigger problems.
'Okay, so where is the...car?' Kurt asked, but before Chandler could cut in, a black lamborgini drove in. 'Well, what did I expect? Atleast I am not driving.'
Jesse and Chandler shared a look before climbling in the car beside Kurt as the care headed off to the hotel. The two were curious about Kurt, and wanted to know just how well Kurt would handle the danger that he now faces. As Chandler looked at Kurt , they saw the determination and courage that shone in his eyes, and he only hoped it would stay that way when battle arrives. Chandler looked away when Kurt put on his sunglasses.
Nevertheless, though Chandler could tell these attributes in Kurt's eyes, it's hard guess what he's thinking, because he seemed to notice the staring and had his pokerface on. Chandler realised that he did want to know him a little better.
When they arrived at their hotel, they all took seperate room keys and headed towards the elevators. Chandler kept shooting glances at Kurt, which unsettled the boy a little. It started out with an awkward silence in the elevator, and the atmosphere seemed to become more and more tense.
'So, bodyguards huh?' said Kurt in attempt to break the silence.
'Yeah! Yeah...' said Chandler, staring at Kurt.
Jesse looked at Chandler and rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath. Kurt just seemed even more awkward and freaked out by Chandler's intense staring, waiting for the elevator to open the doors and let him have some peace. Chandler seemed to take no notice the tensity radiating off Kurt.
After a few moments, the elevator dinged and opened, Kurt 'Speed-walked' out of there and towards his room, but he couldn't help but feel Chandler's eyes on him.
'Um, bye then. See you later I suppose.' said Kurt before opening his door and entering with his back to it.
Kurt sighed in relief, he was finally alone. He pulled out his phone and turned it on.
14 missed calls 4 missed text messages.
Kurt's eyes widened and he opened the text messages, all four of them were from Blaine. He must have found out about all this...ahhh shoot. He was axious of the reply but clicked on the message.
Kurt, where are you? Are you already on the jet? Cause if you're not, you can't go on the mission.
He pressed the second message
Kurt! You can't go, this is a high agent mission, Wes accidentally put you there. Call me back.
He opened the last to messages
Kurt, where are you staying? I am coming to London.
Don't do anything really stupid.
Kurt pondered all this for a moment. He was on a high class mission, but he couldn't abandon it! Not when he knows that the crazy guy is going to attack the whole place and leave Santana and Britney in bits! Blaine is coming, but he could get hurt.
'Oh what am I saying, he's had more training than me and I am here.' he blurted out to himself.
Call him back. Oh right, I should do that. thought Kurt. He pulled out his phone and dialed Blaine.
'Hello?' he said tentively.
'Kurt! Where are you? I am sending you back, there is no way you are going to do the mission-'
'' 'Kay Blaine, I have to catch the dude, he's practically threatening to blow friends to bits! Scratch that, he IS threatening to kill the whole of London! I am not going to abandon this mission, and frankly, you're not gonna be able to stop me.'
'And how am I not going to be able to stop you?' asked Blaine.
'I'll hide from you and do the mission.' said Kurt.
'What if I helped you complete the mission?'
'Fine.' said Kurt. ' I am at the Trison hotel.'
