1000 years later . . . .

Aurora watched as the rays of the sun shimmered in her cabin. She has been up all night tossing and turning because of today, because today... she will start learning her magic with her grandmother! She has wished for this day for however long she could spell the word magic,  BTW she learned how to spell at the age of 3!! She watched as the wind came whistling through her slightly open window and swaying her flowers back and forth.

"BRRINGGGG BRRINGGG BRRRINGGG"

She nearly jumped out of her bed as she heard the sound of the morning bells in her village. She took the quilt off her body and sat up on her bed. She pushed her chestnut hair out of her face with her hands and rubbed her neck.

She licked her dry lips and gave herself a light massage on her cheekbones. She stood out of her bed and looked into her little mirror hanging from her cabin and stared at her reflection.

She was a very beautiful girl with beautiful features. People called her the prettiest, which she hated because she was treated unfairly because of it. She had a golden tan on her skin and it was smooth like a baby. She had a diamond shaped face. Her eyes were an ashen grey color and had almond shaped eyes.

She hated her eyebrows because once when she was little, a girl slit one of her eyebrows with a sharp rock and now she was stuck with the results. She had perfect teeth with no cavities or crooks. Her lips were heart-shaped and very plump and pink. She was a good 5"5 girl, she wasn't very tall for her age. She took in a deep breath and exhaled and said proudly, "Today I am great, I am a great person, I can do great things and I WILL learn magic ..today"

She walked around on the other side of her bed and went straight to her little racks of clothes. She put her finger to her lip and thought very hard of her outfit. She chose to wear a white dress laced with red flowers. Her grandmother sewed it herself, she chose to wear an important dress for her grandmother. Her grandmother was her only true friend, the village girls had a hatred for Aurora. It was always a new reason each day. She was too fat one day and too skinner the next. She was either too tall for her age or too short.

She was the village leader's daughter so you would've thought everybody loved her, Some thought she was annoying, some say she's too "perfect for this world". She was perfect on the outside but on the inside lived a horrid monsters. She felt insecure everyday. She tried to fit in but it didn't work. She didn't want to be labeled as "the village daughter". She wanted to be Aurora Jane. She also didn't want to be a werewolf.

Yes, her father was an alpha of the North East Atlantic Pack. Her father, Ansel, talked about big things for Aurora and the pack. He wanted her to lead them into destiny and greatness and all thing above. To be the most feared werewolves all around the world, but Aurora didn't want that.

She wanted to be a witch like her grandmother and help the werewolves, not lead. Her father tried to teach her how to fight like him. She learned the basics but he could see it in her facial expressions that this isn't what she wanted. Aurora tried to do the werewolf things but she wasn't cut for it. Her father wanted to have her kill her first human the night she turned 16. She tries to cheer up her father more ever since the disappearance of his lover, Esther.

Aurora LOVED Esther like she was her very own mother. She had very light blonde hair and was very beautiful. She was also a witch just like Aurora's grandmother. She did simple spells for Aurora such as, making her flower crowns, making the wind nudge her father and he would fall and she laughed until she cried.

They haven't heard from Esther in a while, her father sent some men to go look and make sure she was safe but they haven't returned since. She mourns for her father sometimes, because he really loved Esther.  Aurora was lost in her daydream until she heard a soft knock on her cabin door.
