RO: Hey..... (readers points gun ) I CAN EXPLAIN, what happened was....... We procrastinated and we ( yes, almost all 4 of us ) had to do our summer vacation homework in the last week. Then we had no motivation to write, so here is a not so short chapter,(curtesy of our new writer). Maybe... maybe we will upload next week, depends on schoolwork and our own motivations.

Also, on a separate note, WE HAVE RECRUITED A NEW WRITER TO JOIN US. Please welcome our saviour,Salami. (She is more experienced than me.)

K: Hello uhm yea this is K... Alsjksjsksks I'm sorry for disappearing for a month straight, I'm still alive ok :) Anyways this is our new chapter but we ran out of motivation so it's quite short... Also, please welcome our new writer, Salami!!! Check out her wattpad account: Salamiwrites! She writes really interesting fanfics so she's basically our saviour now. (Please don't cringe this is my first time writing authors' notes)

N: Hitaus is over ppl we're finally backkk
We were busy rushing our homework plus school just started so we only got a little time to write. Anyways welcome our new writer Salami! Also ty for 1K reads on ao3<33

Salami's note: Whassup readers! I'm gonna do a quick self introduction, I'm Salami, the newest writer that's going work on this fic. I use she/her pronouns (probably like the others as well), I just recently got into Genshin Impact (Why I didn't join at an earlier date was because I was deathly afraid of gambling lmao), and I have a little kitty cat called Nugget.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I hope you'll enjoy my contributions to this fic, have a great time readers!

The members were finally finished with glamming up for the show that's going to take place later on. Satisfied with how the boys look, the stylists and the make-up artists left, leaving them alone with Jean. Naturally, the only logical thing to do in this situation is...

Xiao suggests nonchalantly, "Let's practice."

This time, shockingly, there were no objections from anyone, no, not even Venti. Aether and Kazuha were shocked because of this, not hearing Venti's whines or complaints was even rarer than getting ten five-stars consecutively in a gacha game.

Aether sighed before asking, "Are you alright?"

He glanced at Venti again and explained that he usually complains about practising.

"I'm perfectly fine. We're going to give it our absolute all out there, why not practise as hard as we can before our debut?"

"Normally you would like to take a break...." Kazuha said softly.

"Well, if you really think about it, I only say that after some practice sessions," Venti shot Kazuha his signature grin, and added, "besides, I wouldn't want anyone pushing themselves too hard."

Aether and Kazuha were left utterly speechless. Xiao, however, doesn't have even a hint of surprise in his eyes, as if he knew of this secret side all along.

"Well, shall we get on with it, boys?" Jean asked, and crossed her arms.

"Of course, Jean."

With that, the music started, and shuffling sounds could be heard from outside the room.

"Hello~" chimed the three hosts in unison.

"Welcome to...*drumroll* Music Impact!"

The three hosts were Mona— a famous actress from Mondstadt Academy, one of the reasons why she's popular may be because of her eccentric attitude, though rumoured to be completely broke.
