Allison was leaving from school on Monday morning. She was hoping to find Scott as she thought long hard about her conversation with Artemis. About how she didn't see Scott as her destined or something along those lines. He is a nice, funny, and sweet guy but it is as she told her young, beautiful, and attractive English teacher.

Wait, what did she think of just now about Artemis? Allison's cheeks flush of thinking how gorgeous Artemis is. She is snapped out of her thoughts when she fail to notice Scott walking up to her.

"Allison?"

She glanced up. Both were in an awkward silence. It seem Scott is regretful for his actions

"So what happened?" She went first. "You left me stranded at the party."

Scott flinched. He rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, I-I know, I know. I'm really sorry, I am. But you're gonna have to trust that I had a really good reason."

Allison's face soften

Allison's face soften. She was concern if an emergency happen that Scott needed to leave. "Did you get sick?"

"I definitely had an attack of something." He vaguely explained.

Allison's jaws tense but she humors him. "Am I gonna get an explanation?"

He sheepishly grins. "Can you just find it in your heart to trust me on this one?"

"Am I gonna regret this?"

"Probably." He muttered. "So is that a yes on a second chance?"

Allison flinched. Oh boy. Here comes the hard part. God he had this puppy dog eye that would break a person's hurt for what she is about to do. She truly regretted this but she decided hard on this. "Look Scott, it's not that you're a bad guy. I really like you and I know you had a good reason for leaving the party so soon."

Scott furrowed his brows. "But?"

She gave a sad look. "I'm not doing this because I don't hate you or because from the party. I really do mean you are a good person but...I think we should see other people."

His shoulders fell and Scott's face became blank. "What? Did I-"

She shook her head to ensure he didn't screw up or is a bad guy. "No, nothing like that. Scott I really do think you are the ideal guy any girl would want to go out with," she sincerely smiled. Scott's mood brighten but it would be quick to plummet. "But it is like I said. I thought hard on this and what I felt on our first date didn't strike any chemistry or much of anything. What I am saying is maybe we shouldn't be dating."

"I-I don't understand." Hurt filled in Scott's tone. He was mentally slapping himself for ruining it with the one girl that actually liked him.

Allison's face grew hurt as well for having to do this. "I'm so sorry, Scott. I truly am but I don't think we're right for each other. I'm just not the girl right for you or you are right for me."
