Artemis leaps from one building to the next in her partial-shift as was running on fours on the right side. She was tailing after an SUV driving in the industrial area of Beacon Hills. Inside she caught scent of a person that made her growl angrily.
However, that was not her only primary target., Artemis wondered if he sensed her. Tailing behind the SUV was a bestial obscured figure with its searing red eyes illuminating in the dark catching up to the vehicle.
The alpha has revealed itself at last.
Artemis made sure to keep her distance, not wanting to lost the element oof surprise by both huntress and alpha.
Artemis came to a stop when the the driver comes to a stop as a truck turns and honks at the driver's reckless driving. It was clear the SUV driver had been on high alert from the alpha in pursuit of her and fail to notice any objects on the road.
She wondered where Derek was at as both were out hunting for the alpha when she hears glass shattering. Artemis snapped her attention to see the alpha attack the driver and yank her outside.
Should she help? After all the person inside is no saint. She was an Argent, one tied to losing the people she cared.
Fortunately (if Artemis thought so), the driver manage to drive the alpha by firing with her shotgun. The alpha was not taken down and simply grazed. It jumped off the rooftop and the driver steps out, revealing an attractive and young woman around her thirties with long dark blonde hair, green-colored eyes, and tanned white skin.
Artemis narrows her eyes in disdain. "Kate Argent." About dangerous as her father, Gerard Argent. She observes Kate, despite escaping the danger of making the alpha retreat to a safer distance, she began goading the alpha into coming back for round two.

"Come on!" She shouted, expecting a response and when she does not get one, Kate fires off a warning shot and continues taunting loudly. "Come on!"
"That woman." Artemis scowled. It became clear the woman indulged into action like this. Living for the thrill of the hunt as her chemo-signals read of enjoyment and bloodthirsty.
Ironic as it's coming from a human than a werewolf.
"Looks like your old friend is back in town...Derek." Cautiously coming from behind was Derek, who is unsurprised of Artemis sensing him.
"Looks that way." Both kept down and wait for the situation to play out. As much as they have a grudge against the Argent, she was not the main priority. "Did you see where the alpha ran off?"
"No." She sniffs the air. "But he is still close by. Something smells familiar about the alpha."
