Alright, so the vote for option 4 that Scott remains as a beta and is the third-in-command of Artemis' pack and Derek is second-in-command has won.

The six had taken off moments before the roof collapsed. The Alpha dropped down onto the floor, snarling at the sight of its preys and began running to chase in pursuit. The adult and teens ran down the hall, arriving at the cafeteria where Scott slammed the door.

"Help me get this in front of the door!" Scott exclaimed, attempting to bolt it. Allison, Lydia, and Jackson go to help him secure the door.

Artemis would have joined in when Stiles tapped her shoulder and points behind with a disturbed expression. She is quizzical when she turns around and froze.

"Scott, wait, not here." Though no one was listening to him for they kept on trying to bar the door.

"Guys, wait!" Artemis exclaimed, wanting to get their attention and yet no one paid any heed to the pair for the adrenaline and fear overwrote their rationality and ability to listen to someone speaking.

"Guys--can we just wait a second? You guys, listen to me! Guys?!" Stiles tried calling out to them.

Artemis grew irritated as the four kept stacking chair after chair. "Yo! Anyone with common sense on wanting to listen to Teacher Artemis?!"

"Guys?! Stiles talking." He said sarcastically. "Can we hang on one second, please? Helloooo!"

"Eyes on me!" Artemis shouted.

Sadly, it had been too late. The four teens stacked every chair, securing them inside the cafeteria.

Stiles facepalmed and Artemis deadpanned at them, her brow twitching.

"Okay, nice work. Really beautiful job, everyone. Now...what should we do about the 20 foot wall of windows?" He exasperatedly, gesturing to the windows covering the cafeteria wall where the alpha can easily get in.

That was the least of their worries for the time being. Allison though freaking out, remained quiet.

Lydia was freaking out. "Can somebody please explain to me what's going on, because I'm freaking out here! And I would like to know why!"

Artemis pinches the bridge of her nose. This was not an ideal situation she liked seeing herself in. It would have been easier for her and Scott to fight. She was not concern about Allison seeing them wolf out given she won't rat them out, though Lydia and Jackson may talk to the authority of seeing things and though the police deputies, paramedics, or firefighters would not believe them; the Argents will hear about the rumors tracing back to her and Scott and that will rise red flags.

They were stuck.

"Somebody killed the janitor." Stiles muttered.

"What?" Lydia gapes in disbelief.

"Yeah, the janitor's dead."

"What? Who killed him?" Jackson asked.

"No, no, no, no." Lydia panicked. "This was supposed to be over. The mountain lion was-"

"No, don't you get it?" Jackson cuts her off. "There was no a mountain lion."

Lydia looks to Artemis. "Did you see the dead body?"

"See it? We literally witnessed it happen." Technically Scott and Stiles did, but she heard and smelled the chemo-signals of how the event played out. She felt it. "Look, everyone needs to calm down and quite cornering on someone for answers. Best we can do in this situation and search for a safer, secure, and well-hidden location to hide from our assailant. Truth is we don't know who the assailant is we we never got a proper look at his face. That's all we know."
