"You know what?" Blaine asks. "Hm?" Kurt says. "I think I have the perfect people who should date" "Sam and Mercedes" Kurt and Blaine say. "Oh my god, you think so too" Blaine laughs. "Yes. Oh my gosh she eyes him like a puppy. I ship them so much" they both smile at each other. "Should we call him? And you'll plan the date?" Kurt nods. Blaine calls Sam. "Hey, bro. Where did you go?" Sam asks through the phone. "Got injured I'm at Kurts. On speaker btw" Blaine says. "Ok, what's up?" Blaine looks at Kurt smiles. "I found out" "found out what?" He asks confused. "You like Mercedes" he heats Sam gasp. "How did you guys know?" "I can see the way you two stare at each other in the hallway. I ship you too" Kurt says. Sam laughs. "Thanks Kurt. What should I do though? I haven't even talked to her!" "Ask her out. I'll talk to her and you can just ask" Kurt smirks. "Alright, bet. Let me know" Blaine hangs up and high fives Kurt. "We got this" they fall on the bed laughing .
After they got there giggles Kurt says: "you feeling any better? Light headed?" "No I'm okay. Thank you Kurt, I really appreciate you taking me home" Blaine says. "No problem. I'm bored aren't you?" Blaine nods. "Well Greg Evigan is starring in rent at the community playhouse. Wanna go?" Blaine smiles. "That sounds fun. Let's do it" Kurt smiles and gets out his computer.
"Ok, so I booked it for a couple hours. It's almost 4:30 so do you want to stay for dinner?" Kurt asks. "Sure" Kurt smiles big showing a little but of his teeth. "Also, if your not busy tomorrow night, Mercedes is having a party at her house, wanna be my "sidekick" "I'd love to. You gonna drink?" Blaine asks. "Oh no, designated driver" Blaine chuckles. "I'm gonna go see what we have for dinner. You can come if you want
Blaine and Kurt walk upstairs and they see his dad talking to Finn by the counter. "Hey dude, hey Blaine" Finn greets. "Don't call me dude Finn. And hello" he says walking to the pantry. "Be nice Kurt. How you feeling Blaine?" Burt says. "I'm good" He says. "Wait what happened?" Finn asks confused. "He got pushed into a locker. More hard than usual and hurt his head. I brought him home tho" Kurt says getting pasta out. "Oh, I'm sorry man" Blaine nods. "Ok, so does spaghetti sound good for you guys?" "Count me and Finn out, his team is doing something. Carole should be home soon tho. Come on, we're gonna be late. Bye Kurt" Burt says walking towards the door.
Kurt sighs and ducks his head. "Hey, it's ok. He'll come around eventually, ok?" Blaine says putting his hand on Kurt chin drawing his face up. Kurt nods then goes back to the pot. "What's Carole like? She mean too?" He asks. "Oh, god no. She's super sweet. Dads stuff is sorta sometimes here stuff so I can't blame her" Kurt says stirring. "Oh good" Kurt finishes the spaghetti and puts the bowls on the table. Kurt and Blaine are eating when the front door opens. "Kurt, sweetie?" She calls. "In here, Carole!" She comes through and puts her bags down.
"Hey, honey" she says walking over giving Kurt a kiss on the cheek. "Oh hello, you are?" She asks noticing Blaine. "Oh this is Blaine, Blaine this is Carole" she shakes his hand. "Aren't you handsome. So are you two?..." Kurt blushes really hard and shakes his head. "No just friends, we are actually seeing Greg Evigan, he's starring in rent at the community playhouse" Carole nods and smiles. They all eat dinner together until Kurt and Blaine have to leave. "I'll be home later, Carole" he says putting his leather jacket on. "Ok have fun" she says giving Kurt a kiss on the cheek and hugging Blaine.
While there at the community playhouse Blaine can't help but stare at Kurt. His leather jacket and his perfectly styled hair makes his heart melt. Kurt catches Blaines stare and he waves a hand in front of his face. "Blaine? You with me?" He asks. "Huh? Oh yeah, sorry" he quickly looks away and blushes. Kurt laughs. When there leaving they get frozen yogurt at a place.
"I'm sorry you had to see my dad like that. I was hoping to forget about that for a while." Kurt says. "It's okay. Have you always felt lonely?" Blaine says putting a hand on his knee. "Ever since Carole and Dad got married. Finns football his a lot to the family. I don't do anything in school. At least not anymore" Blaine smiles sadly. "It's gonna be okay. You have me now. I'll never stop being interested" Kurt smiles and hugs Blaine.
After they finished there frozen yogurt Kurt insisted to drive him back to his house. "So you think your gonna be okay?" Kurt asks Blaine. "Yeah, I'm fine" Blaine says. "What about you?" He asks. "What about me, b?" "With your dad" Kurt sighs. "I think I'll be fine. It's not like I can do anything" Kurt says not taking his eyes off the rode. Blaine just looks at him. When Kurts sleeve pulls up a little he can see a couple scars around his wrist. "Hey, you have a couple scars on your wrist there, you good?" Kurt looks at his sleeve and gasps. He quickly pulls his sleeve up. "I'm fine, just dry skin" with that he continues his eyes on the rose.
After that Kurts breathing starts to get faster. And faster. Until at the point where he can't breathe. "Kurt? Hey hey, it's ok" he tries to calm him down but Kurt just continues gasping. Blaine pulls the car over and he sees Kurt still struggling. "Hey, come on, your oaky. Just look at me" Kurt looks at him with wide eyes and his breathing gets better. "That's it, calm down." Kurt finally breathes normally and looks forward. Then it becomes black.
Blaine woke up with a little headache. He looks around the room and sees it's all white. He then realizes he's in the hospital. He sits up then groans in pain. "Ah, Mr. Anderson, your awake" the doctor says coming in. "What happened?" He asks. "You were in a accident. Some drunk driver was on the thruway and hit you" Blaine scrunches his eyebrows together. "But-but I pulled over" "you did good. It was just the drunk person who was on the wrong side" Blaine nods. "What's wrong with me though?" "You just have 2 broken ribs, 2 broken fingers and you needed to get stitches for you arm tho. Your fine you can go places but I suggest waiting to drive for a while, ok?" Blaine looks at his body, all bandaged up. He gasps.
"Kurt! What happened to Kurt?!" He asks panicking. "He's okay, just a little worse than you" the doctor says. "What do you mean worse?" "Well since he was the one in the drivers seat, the drunk driver has more aim towards him. He has 5 broken ribs, broken arm, and a cracked skull. He's all good now. He hasn't woke up yet tho, would you like to see him?" Blaines eyes go wide and then nods fast. The doctor gets him a wheelchair and he wheels to Kurts room.
