Tubbo wakes up with the warmth of sunshine beating down on his face and the sounds of birds chirping outside. He stretches with a yawn, hearing a soft mew from beside his head. When he opens his eyes a single blue eye stares back. He holds eye contact for a moment, inspiring another sound from the small kitten.
"Good morning Michael"
Michael is a cream colored kitten one of his roommates had found outside in the cold. He was small and helpless with a dark patch of fur where one of his eyes should be .
In the three months he'd been around, the kitten quickly became family to the three roommates. Speaking of which, the sounds of the blender turning on signals that at least one of his housemates woke up before him (almost certainly Ranboo).
Tubbo stretches once more before standing and walking over to his closet to grab his clothes so he can shower and get ready for the day. Normally he spends his mornings laying in bed with Michael on his chest but he's feeling restless today.
Probably because today he is finally going to have the chance to see a dragon riding competition live instead of on a screen for the first time. At the reminder of the day's plans Tubbo's sleepiness leaves him and excitement returns to his face where it's been the past two days.
Tommy and Ranboo had gotten the tickets months ago after they saved enough for all three with odd jobs and selling things from the garden but didn't tell him until a few days ago to save him the counting of days. It meant a lot, especially because Tommy is the worst at keeping anything secret for longer than an hour. (Unless he had to keep something secret his whole life but that was ridiculous. He could never).
Speaking of Tommy, the enderman hybrid is leaving his room just as Tubbo opens the door, albeit looking much less ready than Tubbo. He sleepily crouches down, his tail flicking back and forth behind him as Michael sprints towards the half-asleep boy with a mew. Tubbo smiles at the sight before finishing getting ready.
After washing up, changing and trying to tame his fluffy brown hair Tubbo leaves the bathroom and makes his way towards where the two enderman hybrids are sitting with their morning smoothies making small conversation. Michael seems to have moved to laying at the highest point of the house he's allowed on, the black and white hair resting on Ranboo's head.
"Good morning, boys "
"Good morning"
"Morning tubzo"
Tommy waves him over as if he wouldn't sit at the table and drink the pineapple smoothie Ranboo made him anyway. After realizing that smoothies were the easiest and quickest way to get nutrients before they had to leave in the morning that actually tastes good they had all mixed personal bags of frozen ingredients for Ranboo to blend for everyone in the morning. Well, technically it's for whoever wakes up first to blend but as it's only been Tommy once and Tubbo twice in the month of doing it it was basically just Ranboo's job.
"So, you excited?"
Tubbo gives Ranboo a look
" of course I'm fucking excited Ranboo, don't you know me at all?!"
"Well yeah but I was just trying to start a conver-"
"A conversion!"
Tommy finishes the sentence for Ranboo with much more conviction than Ranboo has ever spoken with, ever.
"No! Why would I mean conversion?"
" I don't know, I'm not the one converting people, you are."
Tubbo laughs at their antics. Even though they got tiring at times (especially Tommy) , It was the morning right now and it's impossible to already be tired of them this early... On second thought there was that one time Tommy had dyed the entire white half of Ranboo bright blue and the taller hybrid was certainly tired of everyone's shit that day as early as six in the morning.
