Author's POV

The trio looked at each other scared with the look that Sharon was passing them, since childhood if one mother scared them the most it was none other than her. They looked like kids who were found stealing cookies from a jar while Meera was standing like a stone on her place.

Hearing the scream, the whole D3 team scrambled towards the door along with all the kids, and Swayam asked,

"What happened Sharon?"

That's when all looked at the scene Sharon was gazing intently. They gasped seeing what was in front of them. Their eyes wide as basketballs and mouth opened in 'O' shape. Rey was the first one to come ut of shock, he asked moving forward slowly,

"What's happening? Ye sab...."

All continued looking at them in answer, Ansh looked at his father trying to answer but could only come up with,

"We got married."

Rey got so angry at the obvious answer,

"Of course, I can see that, how and why?"

The trio looked at each other, then Ansh looked at his mother who was looking at him and Meera with a little sadness, confusion and above all admiration. She sighed and kept a hand on Rey's shoulder,

"Rey one minute, araam se baat karte hain." Rey looked at Taani in disbelief and said, "What araam se Taani, ye sab...." He pointed when she blinked slightly trying to calm him down and it worked. Taani said,

"Inhe andar to aane dijiye, bahar khade khade kab tak baat karenge. Abhi Meera ko ghar mein welcome karna hai, jese mera hua tha."

Rey nodded and Taani looked at D3 girls for assistance, they all moved towards the kitchen for preparations while the others still stood in shock. Maya looked at Aarav with question in her eyes, and he blinked telling her he would tell later while Riddhima walked upto Tanay and pulled him through his sleeves,

"Ye sab kya hai?"

He sighed looking at her and said,

"Batata hun, abhi you have to handle Meera, she isn't in a right state of mind."

She smiled,

"Of course I will, you don't have to tell me that. She is my bhabhi now, which I always wished for."

He smiled widely knowing that Meera would be fine here in the house when Riddhi, Ruhi and Aman are there along with Taarey. Soon the D3 girls came back, and Taani held a pooja thali in her hand, Rinni said,

"Tanay, Aarav, tum dono andar aa jao."

The two guys nodded moving inside and stood with everyone. Smiling softly, Taani put vermillion on Meeransh's heads then threw grains of rice before doing their aarti. Sharon put a pot filled with rice in front of Meera while Simmi and Ashi put a heavy big plate with red vermillion water and Neha spread a big cloth in front of it along with Rinni.

Smiling softly at meera, Taani tapped her cheek who was gazing down all the time, the former was confused seeing no sign of happiness or smile on the girl's face. She said softly,

"Meera, bachha please iss pot ko apne right leg se push karo or andar aao." She turned to Ansh and now said with a straight face, "Ansh, tub hi sath mein andar aa."

He nodded pouting as he got no smile from his mother, he knew she was disappointed. Meera looked at everyone and nodded, silently she kicked the pot lightly making it fall as rice grains spilled out of it. Then put her right leg in first at the same time as Ansh did before stepping into the copper plate. She moved forward holding her lehenga as her feet left imprints on the white cloth. Ansh too came inside with her and Sharon said,
