Author's POV

Rey looked at Ansh furiously who was still shocked when the former shouted seething in anger,

"Ek bar uss ladki ko break karke mann nahi bhara tera. You broke her once and you again did it. I told you meri wali galti mat kariyo, but tune ki, dobara ki. Forced marriage Ansh! Are you bloody out of your mind?"

Ansh looked down when he turned to Aarav and Tanay, "And you guys, janta hun dost ho, but dost kuch galat karne se pehle ek dusre ko rokte hain. I didn't expect this from you guys."

Tanay and Aarav looked down ashamed when the former said,

"Rey dadda, pehle Ansh ki baat to sun lijiye. Humne ye kiya uske peeche ek reason tha."

Vicky scowled at his son and said,

"What reason Tanay? I can't believe you are saying this, tumhari behen jesi hain na Meera? How can you support this?"

And then Swayam looked at Aarav saying,

"Or tu Aarav, just imagine agar Tanay ya kisi or ne ye Riddhima or Ruhika ke sath kiya hota, ya hamari hi princesses mein kisi or ke sath? To tu chup rehke support karta?"

He looked away having no answer, when Ansh said,

"Vicky dadda, Swayam mamu, please inn dono ki galti nahi hai. Main batata hun but pehle...."

He turned to Taani and walked upto her, holding her shoulders when Taani looked at him,

"Mumma bas aap please dad ko boliye na, ye divorce ke bare mein bhul jaye. Agar mera or Meera ka divorce hua, to sab bigad jayega." She scowled and looked at Ansh before saying helplessly, "Mujhe kuch samjh nai aa raha Ansh, ya yun kaho, mujhe kuch nahi pata. Tumne ek ladki ko force kiya shaadi ke liye, that's not how me, Rey and the others have raised you. You don't know how bad we felt seeing that girl breaking down because of you, yahan jitney bhi log tujhse pyaar karte hain, jinhone tujhe bada kiya hai, raise kiya hai, they all felt ashamed seeing Meera like that. Or upar se tune usse contract sign karaya ki vo divorce nahi le sakti, you basically caged her for her whole life, what explanation would you give for that?"

Rey said furiously as Ansh saddened seeing his mother disappointed with him, "Exactly koi explanation nahi hai iss sab ki, or agar Meera ko divorce chahiye to divorce hoga."

Ansh fisted his hand, and for the first time in his life, he retorted,

"Nahi, kabhi nahi, I won't divorce Meera. Jisko jo karna hai vo karle."

Everybodys eyes widened and Sharon said, "Ansh ye kya tareeka hai baat karne ka?"

Rey scoffed and said, "So you are going against your father now, itna bada ho gaya hai tu?"

He said looking away, "Main nahi jana chahta dad, aap majboor kar rahe hain."

Rey looked at him smiling in disbelief, "Majboor? Jese tune uss ladki ko kiya, for god sake Ansh, kab band karega usse hurt karna?"

Simmi tried to stop him,

"Rey dhyaan se, usse kuch yaad.................."

But before she could have finished, Ansh said, "Mujhe sab yaad hai."

Everybody's head snapped in his direction as he looked at them, they were shocked when he nodded,

"Hnn, mujhe sab yaad agaya hai." Amar was the one to ask him, "Kese Ansh? London jaane se pehle to tujhe kuch bhi.............."
