-"Jeni, I'm still puzzled why Minhyuk suddenly wants to be in charge of my concert this time," Rona asked as she set her glass of juice on the coffee table.

They were sitting in the living room of Rona's apartment. Kang Mari had an urgent meeting, so she just dropped Jeni off.

Jeni looked at her and shrugged. "Honestly, I don't know either," Jeni said after a few seconds of thought.

"What happened to 'I don't want to participate in the preparations for your performances and concerts'?" she asked, suspiciously eyeing Jeni to see if she really didn't know anything, but judging by the innocent look on her friend's face, it appears that she was completely unaware of what Minhyuk was up to.

When Jeni and Minhyuk had not yet built their company (Hera Classics), Minhyuk advised Rona not to choose their label as her record label if she wanted to continue singing. He didn't explain why he didn't want Rona to join the record label he and Jeni were starting. He simply told her to seek out another record label.

Until one day, he suddenly and unexpectedly said that once the company was established, he wanted Rona to choose it as her record label. He wanted Rona to sign a contract with Hera Classics, but he wouldn't be part of her future performances' preparations for the following reasons: "Our relationship could be misunderstood by others. They might assume I'm prioritizing you or I'm treating you differently."

Rona was taken aback, but she never inquired further, assuming Minhyuk had simply changed his mind. But now that it has happened once more, Rona begins to suspect something.

"I have this feeling that he's up to something," Rona said.

"I think he just wants to make sure you have a great concert since it'll be for your first anniversary," Jeni responds, her tone kind of hesitating.

I'm sure she's thinking the same thing, but she doesn't want me to think about it in a bad way.

Rona shifted her gaze to the coffee table. "I don't think so," she said. "I'm sure he's up to something," she insisted, narrowing her eyes.

He's being weird lately. And the way he's acting at the meeting, I'm sure he's hiding something. Something that he couldn't even tell to Jeni. What could that be?

"Rona, it's your first anniversary. And I know he's doing it because without you, he wouldn't have gotten this far," she said, as if indirectly expressing her gratitude.

"Yah, you both put a lot of effort into it. It's not as if the business is entirely his. Hey, you're the one who accompanied him through this success."

"Still, without you, the company would not be successful," Jeni insisted.

"I only recommended it because you both enjoy music. Apart from that, I didn't do anything else." She smiled at Jeni as she recalled those times when the couple had not yet started dating and the company had not yet been built.

"I remember you used to say that you two were just business partners," she said. It was also the time when Rona was still studying abroad and she used to refer to the two as "lovebirds" during video calls. Jeni hated it, but Minhyuk would tell Rona to continue calling them that, and so the teasing would begin.

"And look at you two now. You're no longer just business partners. you've come this far, and I'm proud of you both," she went on, smiling, being proud and happy for her friend.

"You make it sound like we're the famous ones here. The company is now well-known globally because of your popularity," Jeni pointed out. "Thank you for choosing the company as your record label."
