Hero Book 2

Chapter 3: Training.

"Okay, look, you aren't sleeping until nine again!" Issac said as he grabbed Daniel by the ear.

"Okay! Okay! I'm up! Let go of my ear!" Daniel yelled as he was dragged into the main room.

"There you are, Daniel!" Caleb said.

"Yeah, but only cause I was forced to be here now."

"That's rough", Milla said dryly.

"You need to be up. You have to train to get stronger as fast as possible. Issac said that today you two will go against each other after showing each other everything you can do except one secret," Tom said.

"What!? That's ridiculous!" Daniel yelled.

"Don't forget I said a battle to the death! Almost. You two are going to fight until one of you gives up but we have to authenticate the give up. In other words, you must fight your hardest," Issac said.

"WHAT!?" Caleb yelled.

"You heard me now eat and train! The fight starts in two hours."

"Crud. We're going to die," Daniel said.

"Not yet. We weren't fighting each other when I died. There was definitely a third person we were fighting together," Caleb said.

"I call dibs on dying so neither of them have to", Milla said as she grabbed a solo from the cooler.

"They aren't going to die. Not yet at least. We'll get them both back home. I'll protect them if I have to. Now, you two get to practicing," Issac said.

"Okay! We'll go!" Daniel said as he ran to a different room with Caleb. They practiced and showed each other their moves except for the one they kept secret. Two hours was over and the fight was about to begin.

"Now this could be dangerous and we could be revealed but we need to do this to help you two so I need you two to do your best. You may begin!" Issac said as they moved to the main room.

"Well, then Daniel. You can have the first move," Caleb said as he smirked.

"Fine. Clone," Daniel whispered. He lifted his hand.

"What are you doing?" Caleb asked as he closed his eyes and searched for metals under the ground.

"This! Eclipse Gun!" Daniel said as he shot a black laser at Caleb. Caleb pulled up a small shrapnel shield that stopped it from hitting his face.

"Good move but I'm afraid it isn't enough!" Caleb said as he pulled metal from the ground and made vine-like shrapnel that attacked Daniel. He also made a few shrapnel clones.

"You weren't paying attention!" Daniel yelled as he disappeared. Daniel then shot Caleb in the head from behind with his Eclipse gun and blinded him. "Lunar Dance!" Daniel yelled as he charged at Caleb with his paralyzing blades.

"Shrapnel Dome! Spikes!" Caleb yelled as he made a dome and then spikes on the dome that protected him. Daniel then yet again disappeared.

"Good job! You've canceled both of my clone's attacks. But I must say you failed to notice that I snuck next to you and have cut your arm," Daniel said as he cut Caleb's arm with his paralyzing blade.

"The heck!?" Caleb yelled as he froze.

"I won!" Daniel yelled. "Can one of you guys get us out of here now!? We're sorta stuck in this dome until he wakes up! Unless I kill him! Then it would fall apart!" Daniel yelled.

"Milla?" Issac asked.

"Yeah?", Milla responded.

"I wanted you to help them," Issac said, pointing to the dome.
