Vernon's POV.

Ever since when I'm still in high school I already liked my best friend Y/n. Y/n is just an ordinary girl, she really isn't the typical girl like the orders. She's different.. She is just quiet, doesn't talk to much like me but I get talkative around her, has a calm personality and introvert. I'm just too lucky to be friends with her.

Back where we're still in Elementary grade I met Y/n and ever since that I had a crush on her but my feelings grew for her more as we grow up.

I didn't have a courage to confess her my feeling towards her until we graduated. I'm still thinking of a day, a perfect time rather to tell her everything.
When will that day will come? Hmm.. I wonder.

One day in summer Y/n and Vernon decided to go on a picnic. The two held their picnic on their favorite spot and where they used to hang out.

Y/n sat down under a tree and read a book while Vernon was also sitting beside Y/n just enjoying looking the lake in front of him.

"Y/n." he called. "Oh? What is it?" the girl replied. "Tomorrow I will be leaving for my Enlistment." he stated. "Wait really? Why didn't you tell me earlier?"she replied." Ahh nothing... Why?"

" So I could prepare myself duh. You'll be gone for 2years.. I'm going to miss you"she mumbled in sweet tone.. Vernon look at Y/n and smiled. "I'm going to miss you too Y/n.. I hope when I got discharge from my Enlistment you're still single." he said.

"What? Wow that's a bit mean. Why would you wish that?" the girl said. "It's because I like you?" the guy replied. Y/n eyes widened as she heard Vernon's sudden confession. "W-wait are you s-serious?"

"Yes I'm really serious. I like you since high school. I loved you already."he said.

"Aish I really don't have a plan confessing my feelings today but I'm afraid because you might find someone to love while I'm gone. Haha" he chuckled.

Y/n just smiled and flip through the pages of her book again as she said.. "You don't have to worry about that.. I like you too so I won't look for someone else."

"I'll wait for you. I'll wait for the day you'll get discharge from your service. I'll be the first person you'll see"she remark.

Vernon got surprised and didn't utter any words. He wanted to shout out of happiness but the boy keep it calm (Yes keep calm and boil egg. Huh?)

"Oh gosh.. I don't know what to say." he said. Y/n just chuckled. "Well Goodluck for your leave tomorrow. Take care okay?" Vernon nodded and replied. "I will and you too take care okay? Stay loyal to me" (Bruh she's a Carat. Jk)

"I will." she replied. Vernon look at Y/n, he held y/n's chin and made her face him. Of course Y/n gasped because of his sudden action. He slowly leaned closer to her and utter the words "I love you" before he leaned more closer and kisses her on the lips.

A/n: I really don't know how to make happy ending stories or sweet scenarios so... Just deal with it. HAHAHA
